Chapter:6 

"We are mortal beings" 

Lay reaches his apartment and parks his car in the drive way.He fiddles through his set of keys and then opens his door. As he enters he hears the sound of T.V in the living room.As he looks he sees Kris sitting on the couch going trough the channels.Kris feels him coming and looks at Lay. 

Kris:"Hey where did you went at this time?" 

Lay:"Well...I needed somethings so went to the store a bit but they were already closed.Do you want me to make dinner." 

Kris:"No It's ok I already ate." 

Lay:"Oh then how about some tea?" 

Kris:"Ok.I'll like that." 

Lay smiles and goes to the kitchen. He takes out aa pot and pours some water into it. Kris enters the kitchen too and leans on the wall. 

"Have you heard of the "angel" that people are talking about?I've heard people saying that many people who had no chances of living survived.Some patients even said they see someone walking into their rooms and healing them." 

Lay is taken by his question a bit but keeps his cool and replies without nervousness,"Yeah I have. Well atleast people are being saved. Maybe the angel exists!" 

Kris narrows his eyes and looks at the burning stove. He then deliberatley puts his hand on stove.He lets out a scream and quickly pulls his hand back. Lay quickly rushes to him and looks at his hand. 

"Wha.Wha..What happend!" Lay says in a panicking tone. 

Kris:"I burned my hand. I accidently put my hand on the stove." 

Lay hold his hand gently.It had been burned badly. He Put both of hands on Kris's hand and starts to heal him.Kris could feel the pain going away. He looks at Lay with astonishment.Now he's confirmed it.He really is the Gaurdian of healing.  

Lay lets go of his hand as he completely heals it. Kris looks at his hand and it looks as good as new.Even burn marks are not visible.Lay stands up with nervousness , not understanding how to explain about his ability. 

Kris:"Wow! You are the so called "angel"." 

Lay:"Look I know its weird bu.. but ..let me explain." 

Kris:"No It's ok.No need to explain anything.Actually I have powers like you too." 

"You mean you can heal too?"Lay asks in a surprised tone. 

Kris:"No not healing but I can fly. I have the power of flight.Let me show you." 

Kris starts to float and reaches the ceiling and stands upside down on it.Lay just looks at him with his eye wide open. 

"Wow!",Is all he could say.Kris comes back to the ground again. 

Kris:"Actually I have been searching for people like you from a long time now. How about we sit down on the couch and I'll explain everything." 

They both go to the living room and sits on the couch.Then Kris starts explaining everything about the two clans,The tree of life and about Bacchus:How they have to stop him before he completely revives. 

Kris:"There are twelve of us in total.Me and my friend Luhan who also is a guardian,have been searching for almost three years now. I'm really glad that I atleast found one of you."
