Chapter :9 

Out of Control 

"Seeker of Time?...." ,Kris says still sitting on the floor. "You mean you're the Guardian of time?" 

The " dark circle boy" smiles and helps Kris to get up. Lay who was standing a bit far away and stands besides Kris. 

Lay:"You okay?" 

Kris:"I'm fine." 

The dark circle boy bows to them,"Nihao! I'm Huang Zitao. Sorry for attacking you like that . I just wanted to confirm if you really were Kris Wuyifan." 

Kris:"Yeah. Tao. Can I call you Tao?" 

Tao opens his mouth to reply when they hear Lay giving a scream. 

Kris:"What's wrong?!" 

Lay:"What's that?!" 

Lay points at the end of the the alley they're standing in. Some weird creatures with the head of a hyena and with bodies of human were standing accompnied by swords and spears. 

Tao:"Inugami!" 

Kris:"What's that?!"  

Kris feels like seeing those creatures before. Then he remembers that he saw them in his dream while he was coming with Lay to Beijing. 

Tao:''No time to explain! We have to finish them!" 

Tao takes out his sword from it's sheath. Kris also picks up the sword that Tao had previously given to him during their little duel.Lay does'nt know what to do , since his powers arent meant for fighting.So he just hides behind a trash can, hating himself for being useless in a situation like this. 

The inugami quickly run toward them while giving out cries like hyenas. Kris and Tao gets into battle position. 

Tao goes forward and starts to slash them one by one with his sword. As the inugamis die they become black fumes and dissapears into the atmosphere.  

Kris grabs two of them from their necks and flies of high. He drops them on the ground againwhile doing a seismic toss. 

Both of them continue fighting the monsters. Kris all of a sudden feels fatigue in his body. He was already tired from the fight with Tao. He stops for a while but one of the inugamin stabs him in the back , seizing its cahnce. 

Kris groans from the pain.Tao quickly comes to his aid and finishes the remaining inugamis.  

Kris falls on the ground with blood dripping from his back. Lay quickly comes out from his hiding and starts to heal Kris. 

"Is he ok?!" ,Tao says worriedly. 

Lay:"Yeah...I've stopped the bleeding for now. Help me taking him to our hotel room so that I can treat him properly". 

Tao picks up the unconcious Kris and follows Lay .

>Meanwhile in Korea< 

The boys are in the school cafeteria,enjoying their break. Sehun and Baekhyun had teamed up to cheer Kai who has scored bad in a test. But instead of feeling good , he's getting annoyed by their acts. 

Kai:"Look just leave me alone for a while!" 

Baekhyun:"Geez! Here we are trying to be nice and you're even appreciating it." 

Kai:"Urghh! I hate Physics.I studied all night but I got a F! And that Mr Cho! Yah!" 

Kai lets a shout in frustration. Xiumins smiles seeing him flustered like that.
