Chapter:24 

"Doubts" 

"Why is Luhan living at you're place?", Kai says leaning against a locker in the gym room . Members of the soccer team are all in field except Xiumin who's still tying up his shoe laces. 

"Well......He did'nt have a place to stay that's why.", Xiumin replies coolly. He looks up at Kai who is still leaning."Why is something wrong about that?" 

Kai sighs and looks away for a while but then turns his head again to lock eyes with Xiumin. 

"Luhan may be a friend to you all but I...", Kai pauses for a while before continuing."I don't trust him a little bit. I don't even like him!" 

Xiumin furrows his eyebrows together and gives Kai a puzzled expression. "Why? What has he done wrong?" 

"We don't know a bit about him considering it's almost 3 months since he arrived here. Think about it! Why did he came to Korea to study high school. He could've comfortably finished high school in China and then could've came here to study college. Not only that ! We don't know about his family or anything?" 

Kai now steps closer to Xiumin who's sitting on the bench , mouth open to say something but unable to take out words. 

"He must......have his ...reasons.....", Xiumin says with insured in his voice. 

"Reason?", Kai scoffs. "If he consider you as such a good friend. He should've told you those reasons." 

Kai sits beside Xiumin and places his hand on his shoulder,"Look I don't want any of us to get in any kind of trouble because of "him",Ok? " 

Xiumin nods slightly , with a slightly sad expression. 

Kai gives a final pat on Xiumin's shoulder and leaves Xiumin with a lot to think about. 

"Aish!", Xiumin grunts," Why is Kai making me doubt Luhan? Ah! This is so --",  

Splash! Water starts dripping from Xiumin's hair. He looks up quickly and looks around only to find Baekhyun giggling at him while Suho stands beside him with a face palm. 

"Suho did it! You know his water powers!", Baekhyun pushes Suho towards Xiumin. 

"What!? Shut up!", Suho scrunches his nose at Baekhyun. 

"Thanks for that...", Xiumin gets up quietly and shakes his hair. "It was getting hot anyway... But what do you both need? I have to go to practice." 

Baekhyun waltz towards Xiumin and grabs his arm. "Just wanted to say hi~ Heehee" , Baekhyun winks at Xiumin. 

"Ok.Ew. If that's all then bye!", Xiumin scoffs. 

"No, I just felt like we should be closer since we are together in this weird mess." , Baekhyun says in a more serious tone. 

Suho slightly chuckles and pats Baekhyun's head." You're just scared arent you?" 

"Well yeah! I have been taking those breathing lessons whenever i feel angry! I don't want to be out of control.". Baekhyun pouts. 

Xiumin removes Baekhyun away from him and drags him towards the exit, pleading him to leave. 

"OK! See you tomorrow!! ", Baekhyun hugs him and runs away, giggling while Suho just sighs thinking for reasons why he's still friends with Baekhyun.

Xiumin goes to the soccer field where the rest of the team members are warming up. Minho ,their team captain calls them up. Everyone gathers in the middle of the field where Minho tells them some strategies which could be useful in the summer cup later on.
