Blair's P.O.V.
I watch as Yusei's life points hit zero. I did it. I beat him in a duel.
"I did it!"I shout jumping up and down.
"Great job! I told you if you put your mind to it you would be able to it and you did,"Yusei says while pulling me into a sudden embrace. "The only thing you need to worry about now is losing life points. In duel with the Dark Signers all damage is real. You lose, you lose your soul."
My eyes widen. ".......I'm not to sure I can do this anymore."
"You can and you will. You have to for your son."
"I beat you today because of luck. Roman is more experienced than me and can take me out in one hit. I could lose everything in this duel. Jayden could lose me what then? He's already lost his father."
Yusei looks at me before letting go. "His father, he seems to be brought up a lot don't you think?"
"Yeah, he is. Everyone knows who is. He's known as the officer-who-fell-in-love-with-a-Satellite-scum-bag-and-had-a-child-with-her."
"Why haven't you moved on and tried to find someone who can at least be there for Jayden if something were to happen to you?"
"It's not as easy as one thinks to move on after the death of the love of your life. I hide my tears when I say his name, but the pain in my heart is still the same. Although I smile and seem carefree there's no one who misses him more than me. I've tried. I tried time and time again. Yet, I can't let go. I feel as if though I'm betraying his memory by moving on."
"After all this is over, can you let me teach you to love again?"Yusei asks me silently, looking into my eyes.
