"Yusei's gonna win right, Mum?"

Roman let Jayden and I go. Jayden practically ran into my arms in tears as he finally realized he was safe. With tears forming in my own eyes, I hugged him close and checked him over to make sure he was safe.
"You too should probably go somewhere safe. The last thing I want is for you two to be hurt,"Yusei says as he activates his duel disk.
I nod and stand up with Jayden in my arms. "Promise me you'll get out of this alive. Promise me."
"I will."
With a small smile that Yusei gives me I leave the battlefield as fast as I can.
"Now where were we? Ahh, yes. I believe it's your move,"Roman says to Yusei as I run.
The duel between the two escalates much quicker than I thought it would. By the end of the Roman's third turn since Yusei took my place, Yusei only has 1 life point left. Fear starts to grow inside me, as realize that for Yusei to win this duel and make it out alive, is nearly impossible. Jayden clings onto my leg.
"Yusei's gonna win right, Mum?"he asks me with his big doe eyes.
"Of course he's gonna win. He has to,"I respond saying the last part quietly.
As Yusei's chances of winning start to dwindle my mark glows. Soon does Jack's, Akiza's, Luna's, and Yusei's. Before my very eyes they disappear and mark similar to the one I bear appears on Yusei's back.
Just as all hope seemed to be lost, Yusei summons Majestic Stardust Dragon and uses it to defeat Roman's Earthbound Immortal. As all the souls the Earthbound Immortal escape from it and become humans again, Yusei runs over to where I'm standing still in awe.
"You won! You freed all of these souls! You won!!"I say in disbelief.
"I promised I'd make it out alive and I did. Where's my reward?"he asks with a surge of sudden confidence.
"Reward? I never promised you any type of reward."
Yusei takes my face in his gloved hands. "No you didn't, but I'm gonna give you a reward for believing in me."
I look into his eyes as his face come closer. My eyes close naturally as our lips meet in a sweet, love filled kiss.

So this was the last chapter.
Next is the epilogue.
Haven't decided if I should make a sequel following the Road to Destiny storyline.
