Chapter 9: Search & Destroy

((Note: This may be the confusing chapter of all. Why? Oobleck. End of story. Let's do this!))

Blake POV

Weiss: Professor Oobleck?

Oobleck: Yes, I'm afraid those bags won't be necessary students. Seeing as you've opted to shadow a huntsman on what is now essentially a reconnaissance mission. I can assure you we will not be establishing a single base of operations. Rather we will traversing several miles of hazardous wasteland, & making camp in any inhabitable locations we may stumble upon. I've packed all our essentials myself provided the air course & readied the airship.

He quickly zoom up close to Weiss' face.

Oobleck: &! It's Dr. Oobleck. I didn't earn a PhD for fun, thank you very much.

Me: Ummm.....

Weiss: Uhh...

Oobleck: Come now children, according to my schedule, we are already 3 minutes behind, schedule.

Oobleck then zooms to the airship, leaving a small trail of dust near us.

Me: Something tells me I am bad luck to you, girls.

Blake: You're not, Khiry.

Ruby: Well, alright then, look like we're going to save the world with, Dr. Oobleck..

Me: That's sound worse when you say it out loud.

Nora: Save the world??

We turn around & see Team JNPR coming towards us.

Nora: Youre going on world saving missions without us?? I'm hurt & sad! Maybe a little hungry? That last one's not my fault, though, Ren!

Ren turn away from Nora, with his arms crossed.

Jaune: Sounds exciting, where are ya going?

Ruby: Oh, just outside the kingdom.

Nora: Hey! So are we.

Pyrrha: Ren & Nora wanted to shadow the sheriff of a nearby village.

Ren: We set out tomorrow.

Sun & Neptune show up from the side of the team.

Neptune: Then you can party with us tonight. We're shadowing a crime specialist. All inner city detective stuff. We get junior badges.

Me: Now I'm curious.

Sun: Don't be curious about me, Khiry. Besides, I haven't stole anything in AGES.

Me: Neptune?

Neptune: 3 hours & counting.

Me: Ok, you're progressing slow, but I'll let it slide.

Sun: Thank you. We normally go to the city with you guys, which means stuffs always exploding & junk. So we thought this might be a better way to check out the kingdom when it's, y'know, normal.

Me: Smart pla..

Oobleck: Four minutes students!

Me: Crap. We got him.

Ruby: Well, uh, wish us luck.

Me: We gonna need a lot of it.

We started to head to the air ship. We climb in & it started to take off.

My POV

Yang: I guess I just never saw you as much of a fighter.

Oobleck: I admit, I fancy myself more of an, intellectual, but I can assure you, as a huntsman, I've had my fair share of tussels.
