Shall We?

Part 5: A Day in The Sun

     "Hey slowpokes!" Sophia called out to us from where she was sitting with the gang. I went over and gave her a hug while Wyatt set out a couple of chairs. Soph looked beautiful, as always, and the guys were all wearing different designed swim trunks. "Ooh girl! Look at you!" Chosen said as he looked me up and down, I laugh and blushed. Finn grabbed my hand and twirled me around. "Damn guys, my best friend lookin' like a snack!" He said and he pulled me in and hugged me. I love these boys, they're the greatest.

     Sophia and Jack went down to the water to splash around and Wyatt, Jaeden, Chosen, and Jeremy when to go surf. Finn and I stayed in the sand and built sand castles. "So, how was last night?" He asked after we had been building for a few minutes. "It was so much fun, me and Wyatt bought tons of junk food and binge watched Stra-I mean Once Upon a Time all night." He rolled his eyes at me. "Come on y/n, I could hear my own annoying little voice through the walls." I laughed and shrugged. 

     Jeremy started walking up the beach towards us. His hair was all stringy and in his face from surfing. "You guys want some smoothies? I'm gonna make a snack run." "Yeah totally! I'll take a strawberry banana." Finn said as he added the finishing touches to his castle. "I want mango, thanks!" I said with a smile. "Want me to come? Eight drinks is a lot to carry!" Finn offered. Jeremy nodded and the two of them walked towards the board walk. I sat in my chair and lay back to rest some. I must have fallen asleep, because Jack woke me up by pouring water on me. "What the hell Jack?!" I screamed as I stood up, I was soaked. He was doubled over laughing and holding a pail in his hand. Sophia and Jaeden ran over when they heard me scream, and immediately filled in the blanks when they saw me soaking wet and Jack laughing with a bucket in his hand. They smiled and laughed a little, I rolled my eyes and grabbed a towel. 

     Before I could get fully dry, Jaeden lifted me up over his shoulder and started running towards the beach. "Jaeden!" I screamed as we got closer. He threw me in and I surfaced up, still a little mad but mostly laughing. "I'm gonna kill you, you asshole!" I yelled as I splashed him with water. We started splashing each other and wrestling, and before I knew it, Jeremy and Finn came back with out smoothies. We all met back at the chairs and chilled out for a bit. "How was surfing?" I asked the boys. "The waves are killer today!" Wyatt exclaimed as he ran his hands through his wet curly hair. "Yeah, it's been fucking awesome." Chosen chimed in. I laughed and then Sophia started showing us all the sea shells she had found. Jeremy pulled out some shells and a few shark teeth, and suddenly it was show and tell. 

     "I got this cut from a rock while we were surfing." Jaeden said as he pointed to a red cut about 3 inches long on his ankle. I groaned and grabbed the first aid kit from my bag. "It's gonna get infected you dimwit. And trust me, no girl want a guy with only one leg." He rolled his eyes and let me bandage his foot. Finn started talking about our sand castles and then everyone started trying to make better ones (Mine was the best, btw). "So, did you have fun y/n?" Jack asked. "Yeah, got to make some castles with my best friend. Then some asshole poured water on me and a taller asshole threw me in the water." I said as I glared at Jack and Jaeden. They both laughed and high fived, imbeciles.

     The boys surfed a but more while Sophia and I went on a walk. We all headed back to the rooms at about 5. "You wanna shower first?" Wyatt asked. I nodded and  started grabbing my stuff. "I'm gonna clean up around Fort Mc. Badass and then I'll jump in after you." He said with a smile and headed into the living room. I jumped in the shower and washed as much of the sand off as possible. I shaved and washed my hair, then my face so that I don't break out. I stepped out and dried off, then I reached for my hair dryer... But it wasn't there. "Hey Wyatt!" I called. "Yeah? You good?" He yelled form the bedroom. "I think I left my hair dryer in there, can you bring it in here?" I asked. "Yeah of course. The other want to meet up in about an hour, do you mind if I take my shower in there while you're getting ready?" "Yeah sure, come on in." I called back. He came in with some clothes, my hair dryer, and my makeup bag. "You're the best." I said as I grabbed them from him.
