Jaden and the others nodded. He stayed behind me and let me rest my head on his chest.
"Okay, so, this may be extremely inappropriate for me to say considering everything that has happened in the past two days." Jeremy began. "Y/n, I hate to be that guy, but didn't you promise me a date of some sort?"
I smiled and leaned off of Jaeden. I stood up and walked over to Jeremy, resting my hand on his shoulder.
"I believe I did, Mr. Taylor."
He smiled and wiped the syrup off of his mouth with a napkin. The others started laughing and Jack, who had been doing the dishes, walked over to us. Jeremy pulled his phone out of his pocket and typed in his password, then opened up his bookmarked websites on Safari. One of the websites showed a picture of a gorgeous beach. On the sand was a few cushioned seats and a table with candles, everything looked so elegant and romantic. I gasped and took the phone from him, holding the picture closer to my face.
"Oh my god Jermey, this is beautiful!" I exclaimed while Jack reached for the phone.
"Good, because I booked it for us tonight."
I covered my mouth with my hand and looked at him in disbelief. The others started passing around the phone and they all looked shocked, especially Wyatt.
I jumped onto his lap and wrapped my arms around his neck. He laughed and hugged me back. "Jeremy you are the best! I can't wait!" I said ass I pulled away and stood up. Wyatt looked slightly annoyed and I walked over to him.
"It's platonic, noodles, don't get too worked up." I teased as I ran my hands through his hair. His face turned a bright red and he playfully shoved me. The others laughed and looked at us with smirks plastered to their faces.
"Yeah Wyatt, I would never take your girl." Jeremy said, Wyatt's face got redder.
"Don't look to embarrassed you guys, we all know you two are, like, madly in love." Sophia laughed, we both turned red.
"No we don't!" Wyatt and I yelled in unison, which made it worse. We both cringed and they laughed. I looked up and Wyatt; did I like him? Did he like me?
Everyone started leaving and they all gave me hugs as they headed off to get dressed and ready to head to the police station. Wyatt flopped backwards on my bed and I joined him. He turned and looked at me for a few seconds, and I turned to meet his eyes.
"Can we pretend that didn't happen?" I asked, referring to the awkwardness of us at breakfast. He sat up and looked at the ground. "I'd rather we didn't..." He mumbled.
I stood up and squatted in front of him so that he would have to meet my eyes. "Wyatt, do you like me?" I asked slowly, he shrugged and started blushing heavily, I smiled and let a giggle escape.
"Really? Because that blush on your face suggests otherwise."
He got even redder and laughed at me. "So, y/n, what are you gonna wear to the station?" He asked, not reacting to what I said. I rolled my eyes and decided to go with it.
"Um, I honestly don't know. I mean, I want to hide all of this shit, but also this is Hawaii and it's actually like a bajillion degrees outside." I said as I gestured to my closet. Wyatt laughed and started going through everything. He threw me a pair of pants and a shirt with a jean jacket. I put them on and turned to him, he had a huge smile on his face.
"You actually look hot." He said with a laugh. I laughed and hit him in the arm.
"Give me your phone, I want to post a picture to instagram before we leave." He said as he pointed to my phone on the bed. I tossed it to him and he snapped the picture.
