Wyatt and I agreed to talk in our room alone so the others wouldn't bother us too much. I had anxiety the whole way back to the hotel, God, did I even know what I was going to say to him? I can't talk to boys, let alone boys like Wyatt Oleff... But things have changed between us.

I stepped off the elevator and took a deep breath. Jeremy shot me a wink as he disappeared into his room. I could hear everyone's voices when he opened the door and the smell of alcohol was pungent; Finn.

I opened the door to mine and Wyatt's room slowly and slipped inside without a sound. As soon as I turned around I walked directly into Wyatt and screamed. He started laughing and grabbed my arm so I wouldn't fall over when I jumped back.

"Wyatt! You scared me!" I screamed as I pushed him. He ran a hand through his curls and we walked into the kitchen. Wyatt started rummaging through the fridge while I took a seat on top of the counter.

"We need to talk," I said after a second. He kept his eyes on the fridge as he continued to open different drawers.

     "Okay, talk."

"I'm serious, Wyatt. This is important." I said sternly. He looked up at me with a concerned face and quickly shut the fridge.

"Are you okay?" He asked. I shrugged and crossed my ankles nervously.

"Things feel different, Wy. I don't know if I'm the only one feeling it, all I know is that I feel it. Something has changed between us." I said quickly. Wyatt leaned back on the counter beside me and blew out a puff of air.

"Yeah, I feel it too." He admitted. I sighed with relief and took a second to think about what I wanted to say next. Before I could even form a sentence Wyatt moved to face me and started talking.

"It was different before. Last time I saw you, you were a 13 year old with braces and a scrunchie in your hair 24/7. We grew up together, albeit over FaceTime, but still. I was there when your dads started fighting, I was there when you got your cat, hell, I was even there when you started dating Nick! But now everything is different. You lost your braces and you cut your hair and you're confident now. You know that you have it, so you flaunt it. Which is really unfair, by the way."

I smiled and tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear. Wyatt was right, we'd been friends forever.

"Unfair how?" I asked innocently. Wyatt rolled his eyes and I made a confused face. I stood up and walked around the kitchen to sit on the bar instead, making sure to sway my hips lightly. When I sat down Wyatt came closer to me and placed his hands on either side of me.

"Fucking tease." He muttered under his breath. I blushed heavily and Wyatt started laughing.

"That's one thing that's never changed about you, Y/N, you're still you. You still lose your shit every time I say something remotely flirtatious." He said. I shrugged and looked down at the ground.

"Hey," He said quietly. I looked up into his brown eyes and saw a sparkle in them that I hadn't ever seen before.

"I'm not complaining." He whispered. I smiled spread across my face and my breath hitched in my throat. Before I knew what had happened, my lips were on his.

I was kissing Wyatt Jess Oleff.
