There was a group of boys who were on top of Blueberry Hill as they all were screwing around. The year was 1990, and they were celebrating that it was a new decade. "Cheers!" One of them announced as they all clinked their sodas together before chugging it. The main leader of the group was named Henry. Most of them called him that name because they compared him to Henry Bowers from IT after seeing the similar personalities. Henry was only a bad kid when he felt upset and felt like something was not right. He had a long mullet, and he had blue eyes. Everyone else praised Henry because of how rich he was. He owned the newest Mustang that was also topped with being the most expensive one (the town also nick-named him Richie Rich).
The group of boys were enjoying themselves as they each were off of their jobs at a little burger joint that was about five miles away from Blueberry Hill. They were wanting to see the meteor shower that was going to happen since everyone was talking about it in school (these boys really wanted to be the top of the popular ranking or they would not be here). Henry decided to screw with them, and he was going to scare them with something true. "Hey Jack, did you know that someone committed suicide here?"
"Bullshit Henry: do not try to scare me again! It will not work this time!" Jack scoffed as he looked away from Henry, but Henry got up in his face, kissing distance, and he looked at Jack's brown eyes in a cold manner.
"Oh this is no joke! Many people actually commit suicide here! Rumor has it that if you listen to the song Blueberry Hill here, you will hear all of the voices of the deceased sing with Fats Domino!"
"CUT IT OUT HENRY I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THE DEATHS OF OTHER PEOPLE!"
"Aww someone is a pussy huh?"
"Shut up I am not!" Jack seemed to be in distress. It was mainly because Jack hid that his little brother died months ago, and people for some odd reason never noticed that his little brother was missing. His parents had their own religion, and they kept the little kid's body. Jack was told that if he told anyone what would happen, he would be sent straight to hell (he always thought he was already going to hell since he listened to Iron Maden, Megadeth, and Slayer).
That little conversation carried on until Dennis pointed out that the meteor shower was beginning. Henry looked at Dennis confused since he knew what time it was supposed to start. "Dennis the shower does not start for another 20 minutes." They all looked at each-other, and they saw that the meteor Dennis saw was heading straight towards them. They could see the bright light beginning to get brighter, and it also seemed to make some sort of whistling noise as it came down. They thought it was headed straight for their cars, and they all ran out and headed away so they would not get attacked by this meteor, but Henry stood there. He was going to show no fear from whatever was going on, and he knew what was going to happen too. He thought he was just going to easily look into that meteor and easily move it out of the way. Of course, that was only his dream. The meteor appeared to be hitting him, and he curled into a fetus position quicker than anything he has ever seen. The meteor crashed at the bottom of hill as dust flew everywhere, and a earthquake-like eruption came out of it. Henry slowly stood up and peered out of the distance as he was shocked to see that there was the massive hole deep in the dirt. His friends slowly peered out as they looked at him. Henry then smirked in that special way that his group of friends knew what he was thinking. Henry pulled out a switchblade as he clicked it and revealed the sharp blade as its chrome steel sparkled and glimmered with the moonlight. Jack touched Henry's shoulder. "Henry dude, please calm down. You do not need to solve this with some sort of violence."
"I got this" Henry said so sternly
"Henry come on man don't-"
"I SAID I GOT THIS SO SHUT THE HELL UP ALREADY JACK!" Henry seemed to be different, and they noticed that he must have done something that made him feel bad about himself. Henry then runs straight down the hill. Nobody went to stop him, but they noticed that Just Another Day by Oingo Boingo was playing in Henry's car.
Henry was trying to do a clean run down the hill, but he slipped due to the wet grass, and he tumbled down the last half of the hill. He quickly got up and looked at where the massive hole was, but he could not see because of the debris that was still up. He decided to walk into the debris. He could hear his group of friends telling him not to do that, but he continued to walk into the meteor. He felt the temperature increase as he was already sweating in his leather jacket. He ran further in, and he looked down inside the meteor to see.. a weird looking girl. This was scientific evidence! He could be rich if he got her quickly! The girl had long mint green hair with a light red color to her eyes. She was a pale-looking girl too, and she appeared to be 14. She slowly woke up and saw Henry with the switchblade, and she made him notice something that he has never felt in his body for a long while: happiness. Henry dropped the knife as he looked at her. His own eyes now had a tint of the color of the alien girl's eyes. Henry got down inside the hole, and he carried her out.
As Henry walked out, he saw his buddies all next to each-other, and they all looked at Henry. Jack then stood forward. "This has gone on too long Henry" Jack said. "It is time you let us take action in this. Give us the alien."
"Out of my cold dead hands you will have her" Henry said, and everyone took a step back from Henry as he had a new voice. It seemed to be rougher than anything else. Jack was the only one to notice the red tint in his eyes. "Little girl you better get out of him!" Jack charged for the girl, and he failed as Henry grabbed him by the wrist and slung him fifty feet across the field. Jack hit the ground hard, and he saw his wrist was broken. The others stood back as they were terrified. Nobody else bothered Henry, and he walked off and was gone in an instant.
Henry roamed around in the forest as he could barely see. the little alien girl was looking into his eyes as she noticed his tint was gone, but he was still being so kind to her. Henry looked down at her. "Look miss, I do not know who you are or how you came here on Earth, but you gave me happiness, and I have not experienced this feeling in such a long time, and I thank you."
"Y-your welcome.." the girl said as she stretched her hands out and felt a cut mark on his face. "W-what happened..?"
"It is best we talk about that another time okay?"
"I feel... such sadness in you... you are hurt."
"Hey hey now" Henry said and touched her hands, and she held his hands as soon as he touched hers. Henry then continued. "It is best you do not read my mind okay? Now you need to go and run away. We do not need the government to find you, so you run as fast as you can." The little girl then hopped off of him as Henry then noticed the neon blue dress she wore. Everything about her was so odd. She was for a sure a cute girl, but he did not date a younger girl. The girl waved goodbye, and he waved goodbye as well as he stood up and watched her disappear. Jack then touched him on the shoulder. Henry turned at him and looked into his eyes.
"Henry. I know that she did that just for defensive measures. Don't sweat it, but what the hell happened in there?" He pointed to his mind since he knew he was possessed.
"Jack, I felt happy."
"You did?"
"Yes. She gave me the memories of the times I had with my little sister before she died in the car wreck. I...I couldn't let the girl get hurt."
"Well what should we say to the rest of them?" As Jack said that, the rest of them looked at Henry as they wondered what was going on.
"Well, I think we should get something at Steak and Shake shall we?" The rest of the boys cheered as they knew the real Henry was back. They all ran into their groups of Mustangs, and they drove. Henry was the last one as he went and retrieved his switchblade. He the got in his mustang as Party by Boston was playing on his radio. He chuckled as he remembered how this song was his sister's favorite. He then drove off of Blueberry Hill, and he floored it as the song faded away, and Smokin by Boston played as he drove.
