Gerard had offered to let Frank stay at his house for the day so the two could hang out more. Frank's hangover had gotten much more bearable after a few pain killers and lots of water, and he just had a slight headache the rest of the day. Their day consisted of just chatting and laughing together, eating lots of food, playing a few video games and watching movies. They were both really happy to be friends again, it was great to spend time with your favourite person in the whole wide world. Mikey kept popping his head into the room to check up on what was happening.

He was feeling strange about the whole thing. Frank had wrecked Gerard's heart and Mikey had stood by Gerard through all the tears and breakdowns and all the other issues that came along with getting your heart broken by Frank Iero. But he hadn't seen his brother this happy in a long time, and Mikey really did miss Gerard's genuinely happy smile, so he decided to stay out of it. Although he had stopped Frank when he saw him alone in the kitchen getting some snacks.

"Frank, just please don't hurt my brother again. He doesn't need more of that shit in his life." Mikey gave Frank a death stare.

"I won't, we're just friends." Mikey raised an eyebrow, the hickeys on Gerard's neck seemed to indicate otherwise.

"Okay." Mikey said uncertainly. "Just know that I'll beat your ass if you drop him again."

Frank nodded profusely. It was no doubt that Mikey, as lanky as he was, could beat up the shorter but older boy.

The day had gone by in a flash because of how much fun they were having until it was around five in the afternoon. The two lay on Gerard's bed, where they had been the majority of the day, as Scream played on the screen.

"It's getting pretty late, do you want to go home?" Gerard asked, running a hand through his own messy hair.

"Not really." Frank admitted, he was enjoying the other boy's company immensely and he didn't really want to leave.

"Well you can sleep over again if you want but ask your mom first. Oh, and what are you going to do about your clothes?" Gerard nodded his head to the pajamas belonging to Gerard that Frank was still wearing.

"Nah, it's cool. I'm fine just wearing your clothes if you don't mind, they smell like you." Frank inhaled deeply, smiling. Gerard's heart pulsed suddenly, Frank just admitted to liking how Gerard smelt, that was kind of cute. But he just nodded as Frank called his mom and confirmed that it was okay for him to stay there another night. Linda was perfectly fine with it, in fact she was happy, she really wanted them to date and she wasn't ashamed to admit it.

"She said it's cool." Frank casually took off the shirt Gerard had given him and walked off to the bathroom.

"What are you doing?" Gerard sat up on the bed.

"Showering." Frank called out and Gerard heard the sound of the shower running.

Gerard hated to admit that he was thinking about Frank in the shower, his perfect body all wet and soapy. He felt his pants tighten slightly before cursing at himself, he couldn't be thinking about Frank in this kind of way. They were just friends, nothing else. Although Frank wasn't making it easier with all the kissing and flirting, Gerard was too far in already to get out. Dammit, why did Frank have to be so attractive and lovable and most of all, confusing.

It was later in the evening and Gerard had finished showering after Frank and the two were sitting on the couch in the lounge, finishing the pizza they had ordered. Mikey had darted in and told Gerard that he was going to Bob's house, Gerard just told him to stay safe and had carried on eating his last piece of pizza.

Frank and Gerard were trying to figure out what they could do when Frank suddenly piped up with an idea.

"Let's play truth or dare."
