What A Birthday Present

It had been roughly three months since Frank and Gerard had started dating and everything was great. They spent most of their time together and their relationship was healthy and thriving.

The two different social groups of the "outcasts" and the "popular gang" had officially united into one large group, much to many people's surprised. Multiple relationships had blossomed among the teenagers. Dallon and Lindsey were dating, Andy B. and Poppy were kind of together, Tyler and Josh had been dating for a few weeks and the biggest shock was Brendon and Ryan.

It had all started when Brendon had finally gotten up the courage to ask Ryan out, which he'd never done to anyone before. Brendon was more the kind of guy who fucked someone then left with no strings attached, but with Ryan he'd actually asked him out and gone on many dates with him.
Ryan was of course the well known shy virgin of the school and Brendon was not just in the relationship for sex this time. Brendon had involved his feelings and emotions into his relationship with Ryan, especially because it turns out that Ryan had never had a boyfriend before. 

Frank had been the one to get an excited message from Brendon telling him all about the kiss he had with Ryan and how Ryan had said that for his first kiss it had been amazing. Then two months into the relationship Ryan had given Brendon his virginity while they were on a date, watching movies at Brendon's house. Brendon had even been hesitant, he was worried that by having sex he'd ruin their relationship, but Ryan insisted and it only strengthened their relationship.

They were pretty cute together, not as cute as Gerard and Frank but still cute.

Patrick had also been welcomed into the large friend group and had joined the Talent Fair because he had a surprisingly good soul voice when he sang. He had also been smiling a lot more lately, it seemed that having friends had really improved his life.

Life was good and everyone was pretty happy.

Gerard's birthday was fast approaching and Frank was balls deep in party planning. There would be a main party where all of Gerard's friends were invited and it would be during the day. Then at night a certain activity would take place, involving just Frank and Gerard.

Before Frank knew it, the day had arrived and he was ready to spoil Gerard beyond compare.

Gerard woke up to a sweet kiss on his cheek from Frank, who had a giant bouquet of black roses in his hand.

"Happy birthday, baby." Frank handed the roses to Gerard, the boy blushing brightly.

"I made you breakfast." Frank said, rushing out the room and returning with a tray of food. There was a stack of golden pancakes drizzled with syrup and sprinkled with sugar, a mug of coffee with red ribbon tied around it, and rose petals were scattered around the tray.

Gerard's smile grew even bigger as he gave Frank another kiss.

The two ate breakfast together and everything about it was adorable.

After they ate and got dressed, Frank took Gerard to the comic book store and they picked out a bunch of comics together that Frank paid for with money he'd saved especially for Gerard. They ended up spending a lot more time there than Frank had anticipated but as long as Gerard was happy, so was he.

Frank then took Gerard on a date in the park where they sat by the lake and snuggled up against each other and had a picnic. It was all very cliché but romantic nonetheless, and Frank just needed to keep Gerard out of the house for the day so that everyone could set up everything for the party.
