Final Author Note

Hello. If you've made it this far after the last few chapters, I commend you. If you've made it to the end of these last three years, then I very much commend you.

Strap in. There's a lot I gotta say.

I said in the last final author note I wrote that The Path of Time was the hardest book I've written in a long time. I was wrong. This book...This book was the hardest I had to write. And mainly because of the ending. It's been hard because this was the last book. It was the final adventure. It was hard because I had to take breaks in between chapters and acts because I was afraid to end this story, especially in the fashion that I did. I was afraid that the ending wouldn't be accepted. I know you're all sad, because so am I. I'm sure many of you are probably angry with how it ended. But I want you to know that it was time. It was Andi's time. I want you to know that I thought long and hard about this decision, and I feel like I've made the right one. You'll understand someday.

This series has been my life for the past three years; my child. There were so many sleepless nights. So many missed social events. So much commitment to deliver you the best story—the best series—I possibly could, and I hope I've done that. I feel like I've done that. I feel like I have from the amount of comments I've received telling me that this was the second, fifth, tenth time you've read Out of Time. I feel like I have from the messages on my profile telling me how this series has influenced people to write, and have helped their love for Marvel strengthen. I know I have from the comments that many of you wish Andi was in the MCU. I know that I have from those who have stuck around for this long.

And I want to thank you for that. I want to thank every single one of you. I want to thank you for the past three years, for supporting me and putting me on the map with this series. Thank you for being so patient with me, waiting week after week, a huge few months gap, with no update and then swarming to one when it arrives. Thank you for the votes and comments, the messages on my profile and PMs, the fan art and spreading these stories across Wattpad. Thank you for being there for me since the beginning and to the end of the line.

You guys are honestly the best group of people I've ever encountered. You guys are what put a smile on my face in the morning when I open up Wattpad and see the amazing comments, whether it be emotional, snarky remarks, or taking lines and turning them into a karaoke night (Beauty and the Beast's 'Be Our Guest' and Billy Joel's 'Uptown Girl'? I'm looking at you). I never thought I would ever, ever, ever be where I am today. I never thought I would be sporting a book so close to 600K reads, and it wouldn't be there without you. Never in my wildest dreams would I think that I would gain such a loyal fan base as I have, and for that I thank every single one of you.
