What Did You Just Call Me?

I agreed to Taehyung's request that we talked at my place, I mean it has been a long time since we talked face to face. "Meow~~" Ggomo said as he heard a knock on the door. "H-hey..." It was Taehyung, "Hi....come in..." I said as I let him sit down on the couch. There was a bit of an awkward air even though we agreed to be friends the last time we talked, "So, um....what do you wanna talk about?..." I said to lessen the awkwardness, "Um....I heard you're having a comeback soon..." He said. "Y-yeah....wait, how'd you know about that?" "Jimin told me" "Oh...." I simply said as I looked away as my face started turning red, I've never felt this way before in a long time, the sound of his voice that I longed for since that day we broke up.....

"Um, Wheein....are you okay?" He said as he waved his hand infront of my eyes, I didn't know I blanked out. "Y-yeah....I'm fine...I'm just gonna take Ggomo to my room, I'll be right back" I said as I stood, picked Ggomo up & went to my room.

As I got in my room, I put Ggomo in his bed & went straight to the bathroom & screamed as quietly as I could for him not to hear me, many things went through my mind like "Is this it? The moment I've been waiting for?" "Wait, stop, control yourself Wheein, he's with THAT girl, remember" "But I can't resist the way he looks at me", but what stood out most of all was when he wanted to talk to me in MY house, not any other places or whatsoever. I then got out of the bathroom & calmed myself down before I went out again to the living room. 

"What do you want now Irene?" I heard him say in an annoyed tone, "No, I don't have time & energy to go to the after party" "What do you mean I'm your boyfriend & I should do what you say? You're not the boss of me!" "Irene, I'm fed up with what you're doing to me!" "Yeah, you don't have to clarify to me that your parents want me to look after you, but with how you're acting right now I can't take it!" "I'm sorry to say this but you're starting to be a pain in my neck!" "You know what Irene, we're through, I've had enough!" 

He said as he hung up and let out a deep sigh, I then slowly walked towards him, "E-everything okay?", pretending I didn't hear anything. He then grabbed my arm and hugged me, at first I hesitated hugging back but whatever, I hugged him as tightly as I could, God I missed this so much.....

"A-are you okay?" I said as we sat back down on the couch, "We broke up...." "Oh....I'm sorry" I said as I pat his back, "You don't have to be sorry.....it's been a long time since I wanted to end my relationship with her..." He said with a relieved sigh. "Hang on, I'll get us something to drink, love....." I said as I accidentally called him that as I stood up.

"W-wait....what did you call me?" He said with a confused expression, "Hm?" I said as I looked at him, "What did you just call me?" He said as he leaned on the kitchen door, "I didn't call you anything...." I said as I got glasses of water for the both of us & placed them back in the living room table. "I heard you say something Wheein....could you say that again?...." He said as he got closer, "Did I really call you something? I think you're just daydreaming~" I said as I smiled at him and he smiled back. He then hugged me again, this time he lifted me up & made me lean on the wall next to the door as we both shared a laugh. 

"What did you call me again?" He said as placed his hand on the wall, "Love...." I said as he leaned his forehead on mine. "I missed that...." He said as we both smiled, it has been long since we've shared this moment together. Just then my phone started ringing, "Wh-Wheein? Where are you?" Minggyu called me, way to ruin the moment...."I'm at my house....why?" "I was planning on stopping by....is it okay?" "Um, I guess..." I said as Taehyung had worried expressions on our faces. "Okay, I'll see you in a few honey~" Minggyu said as I hung up and looked at Taehyung, "What're we gonna do now?" Taehyung said as we got to the couch, "We have to hide your car especially you" I said as we both went outside. "Hyung, drive off to some café or somewhere private" Taehyung said to the manager-oppa driving his car. "Don't worry, I know where" He said with a relaxed expression as he drove off, "Now where can I hide?" Taehyung said, "I think I know where...." I said as I held his wrist & led him up to the attic. 

"Here?" "Yeah, you'll be safe here, I promise, later when he comes you can just run up here quietly, and we'll be fine..." "Okay love...." It felt comforting he called me love back after everything we've been through, even though we were friends, but I guess it's fine now that he & Irene broke up, I just hope it would be the same once Minggyu & I break up, the unnies know I've wanted to break up with him but I just couldn't because Taehyung wanted me to be happy for myself, but I guess there's nothing wrong....isn't it?
