Divergent : Tobias and Tris

Chapter 16

"Tris!" Tobias yells running toward me with his arms wide open, "Tobias!" I yell back running to him with a smile on my face. All a sudden I hit my head and fall to the ground.

What the...?!

I stand up dusting my self off, it's like there's glass between Tobias and I. I pound on it, trying to reach Tobias,

Maybe I'm in my fear landscape?

I start whispering to my self "this isn't real" I say, but nothing's happening. I turn around and see Tobias strapped to a chair with his mouth duck taped. I turn again hoping I can get out of the glass box, only to see Tobias being hanged "no stop!" I yell. I turn away from him with tears in my eyes, I look up and see Tobias standing there in front of me laughing.

He points to the ground and I look, the glass box I'm trapped in is being filled with water. By the time I look back up at Tobias he's gone, and the water is rises to my ankles, I scream.

My divergent part of me won't work " this isn't real" I keep repeating to my self. I'm going to die, the water all ready went up to my legs, still raising higher and higher.

I start panicking, almost forgetting how to breathe. The water went up to my waist, I start kicking the glass, hoping that it would crack.

It doesn't even budge. I close my eyes as the water rises, this is it good bye world.

I scream waking up, Tobias jolts up wide wake "tris what's wrong?" he says, I feel him looking at me in the dark. "I had a bad dream" I say tears start filling my eyes, "hey, it's ok Tris, I'm okay, where safe" he says rubbing my back lightly.

I start to cry, Tobias hugs me making me feel safe...just a little.
