"Uh... Taehyung, can you let go?" I asked, not really sure how to respond in this situation. Of course this would happen...

"5 more minutes..." He mumbled.

And of course he would want 5 more minutes.

"Ugh..." I mumbled. I tried to wiggle free from his grasp, and I was proud that I actually managed to do it.

"Nooo..." he whined, sounding groggy.

I grinned at my successful attempt, standing up from the bed. I went into the bathroom and got ready for the day.

After I exited the bathroom, Taehyung was still pretty much asleep. I sighed, and aggressively pulled one of the pillows out from under him. I started hitting him in the head with the pillow, trying not to laugh.

"TAEHYUNG. WAKE. UP!" I said loudly as I hit him, and he groaned.

"Ugh... stop it... I'm getting up..." He whined and covered his head, and I stopped hitting him as he sat up.

"Good morning." I said brightly, a wide grin on my face.

"It's not a good morning when you wake up to being hit with a pillow multiple times... if you're gonna do this everyday, then I'm having second thoughts about letting you stay with me." Taehyung joked in his raspy morning voice.

"No no no! Please forgive me!" I apologized.

Taehyung laughed, and ruffled my hair as he got up to go take a shower.

"HEY! I just brushed my hair, IDIOT!" I complained.

"Whatever!" Taehyung yelled as he shut the bathroom door.

Ugh...

I started packing up the few things that I had taken out of my bag, which wasn't much.

After all of that, I sat down on the messy, unmade bed, and Taehyung exited the bathroom with his hair partially wet.

"Oh, you're ready to leave already?" Taehyung asked.

"I wasn't sure when we were leaving, so I just wanted to be sure that I had everything." I replied.

"Oh, ok... I'll pack up my stuff, and then we can leave." Taehyung said, and I waited a few minutes for him to do that.

Once we finished, we headed down to the lobby with all of our luggage.

"Oh, you're leaving already?" While on our way to the front desk to check out, we heard Namjoon speak from behind us.

"Yeah, we were only staying for one night." I replied.

"Oh... so did you guys have fun last night?" Namjoon asked, raising his eyebrows suggestively.

"No, we didn't do anything!" Taehyung argued.

"I'm just joking with you guys..." Namjoon said, and he went over to the front desk to help us check out.

Was he was actually serious? Finally!

"Maybe." He muttered under his breath with a smirk.

Dammit, Namjoon...

After we left the hotel, I got in my car and followed Taehyung as he drove to his house.

Once we arrived, I parked my car in the driveway and stepped out onto the pavement.

The house was still big, like the other house he had lived in with his parents before he moved out. If I didn't know he was an actor, I would have thought it was odd that he already had enough money to buy that big of a house.

Taehyung and I took out our belongings and carried them into the house.

"It looks a lot bigger on the outside than it really is, it shouldn't be too hard for you to find where everything is." Taehyung said. "But come on, I'll show you to your room."

I followed Taehyung up the stairs and into one of the rooms. I placed down my suitcases, and was in awe as I gazed around the room.

"Woah... it's so nice..." I said. The room wasn't much, but it was certainly better than what I had in my crappy apartment.

"My room's across from yours, so don't hesitate to ask if you need something." Taehyung replied. "But I'll leave you alone to put away your things. Oh, and here's the extra house key." He added as he placed a key in my hand.

"Oh, thanks." I said.

He nodded before exiting the room, and I started unpacking my stuff. I wasn't sure how long I would be staying here, but I figured it would be at least until we figured out more about what was going on with the current situation.

I guess we would have to wait until we got another note from my appa, or any sort of communication, but who knows how long that would take...

Afterwards, I received a text from Bora.

Bora:
Are you okay? I just wasn't sure if you were sick or something, since you didn't show up at work yet.

Oh crap... I was late for work!

I got ready for work as fast as I could, and rushed out of the room.

"Woah, where are you going?" Taehyung asked as I passed by him.

"I'm late for work!" I said, not wasting any time by turning around. I got in my car, and drove out of the driveway quickly.

I was almost never late to work, I just hoped that it wouldn't be a big deal.

If only appa hadn't escaped and left me that note... then I wouldn't have come over Taehyung's house, and I wouldn't have forgotten about work. The day was already off to a bad start, and I just hoped that it wouldn't get any worse from here.

After work, I got into my car and started driving back to Taehyung's house. At lunch time, Bora had asked me why I was late, but I just said that I had overslept. At least she believed it, since I couldn't think of anything else. I didn't want to say that I was living at Taehyung's house for now, since she would start asking a million questions that I didn't have the answers to.

Right before I had left work, Taehyung had sent me a text, saying that he wouldn't be home. He apparently wanted to go to the store to get more food, since the fridge was pretty much empty. Hopefully I hadn't forgotten the house key, or else I would be locked outside.

I parked my car in the driveway, and walked up to the front door. I froze once I saw a note taped to the door, with my name messily written on the top.

Uh oh. Appa left another note.

I grabbed it and entered the house, then sat down on the couch to read it. I couldn't wait for Taehyung to get back, I had to read it now. I could just let him read it himself when he got back.

Dear Jihee,

So, I see you showed Taehyung the other note I sent you? That was a bad idea. I know he's out of the house right now, so you can read this alone.

By the sound of that, I knew that this wasn't going how I expected.

I heard the front door start to open, so I shoved the note into my bag and stood up just in time.

"Oh, you're back." Taehyung said, carrying two bags filled with groceries. "Can you help me carry the rest of them inside?"

"Oh, sure." I replied, heading out of the house and to Taehyung's car.

After all the groceries were inside, I grabbed my bag and started making my way to my room.

"Hey, is everything okay?" Taehyung asked.

I turned around quickly, and met his gaze.

"Oh, yeah, everything's fine." I replied.

Ha, I wish that were true.
