A week later, Sora and I were invited to this abandoned theater by BTS. I kinda figured that it was the surprised for Sora, but Tae refused to tell me. Maybe I was just wrong... but the only way to find out was to actually go.
The boys had told us that we would be the only ones there since it was kind of old and abandoned, and then we would probably just watch some old movies on the stage or something like that.
Sora and I arrived, and we entered the old building. It seemed to be empty, at least for the most part. It was just like any other theater, but just outdated. The seats looked old and creaky, and the stage curtains had faded from their original color. Although it was very old and outdated, it seemed like a cute place to be hanging out for the day with the boys.
All of a sudden, we heard a loud crash, proving that there was someone else here. The two of us jumped at the loud noise, and I was extremely confused.
"Hey, is anyone here?" Sora called out, and then a figure came running out onto the stage.
It was Namjoon, wearing a striped long-sleeved shirt and a backwards baseball cap.
"Just sit down towards the front, there was something that we had to do first!" He called out before running backstage again.
Sora and I exchanged glances, but did as Namjoon said. After sitting down, we waiting patiently, and there were more crashes.
Suddenly, from some sort of speaker, we heard voices.
"Namjoon! I got it to work!" A voice boomed through the theater, and I was pretty sure that it was Taehyung. "Test it out!"
"Really?" Another voice, assumingly Namjoon, replied, his voice getting louder as he probably approached the microphone. "Wow, okay. Good job!"
"Wait, Namjoon, stop or else you'll brea-" And then the voices cut out before another crash.
Sora and I laughed, thinking that their mistakes were funny. I think that they probably shouldn't have invited us over until they were finished failing to set up, but this was actually pretty funny. I figured Sora suspected something, but whatever. I'm sure that she and I would enjoy whatever they did.
"IT'S BACK ON! I FIXED IT!" Another voice yelled, and this time I thought it was Jungkook.
"REALLY?" Taehyung yelled, and we laughed at their reactions.
"TESTING, TESTING, 1 2 3!" Jungkook yelled.
"Hey, you don't need to scream into it! That's not the point!" Someone who I thought was Yoongi said from somewhere further away from the microphone.
"WE CAN HEAR YOU, MAYBE TURN THE SOUND DOWN A BIT!" I yelled, hoping that they would get the message that the microphones were working.
"Thanks!" Jungkook said into the mic, and then I guess they turned the microphones off, since there was no reply afterwards.
Sora and I started talking, mostly about our confusion, and then a few minutes later, the audience lights dimmed. The stage lights were still on, but I guess the boys were adjusting them to their liking. I could faintly hear them arguing, but I couldn't really tell what was going on. I bet they were fighting about the lighting, and it made me laugh that something as little as this would be enough to make them argue.
Once the lights went to a certain brightness and stayed, their voices stopped.
They ran out onto the stage in some sort of formation, and then some sort of music started playing.
I was in awe by their dance moves, I knew they danced, but I never had actually seen it live before!
