Betrayed

Jeff's P.O.V

I stand beside Jane's sleeping body. My eyes graze over her curves of her body and I smirk to myself. I don't know why I came in here, just an urge. My arm begins to reach out to touch her but I pull back before I can touch her soft skin. So many times I have dreamt of being beside her, with her in my arms, cuddling against me as she sleeps.

I shake my head, trying to get rid of the thoughts and groan. Do it... A small voice whispers into my mind. Kill her. I clutch my head and groan loudly. No! I yell back to my need. Do it! Never! I'll never hurt Jane! KILL HER! I yell as my control begins to fade. My hands drop and my eyes gaze up to the mirror across from me. I feel my mouth grin as I look at my body, but not myself. My hand reaches into my hoodie pocket and pulls out my knife. I trace the knife against Jane's cheek and she moves at the sudden cold steel against her skin. Grinning, I pick her up and leave the room, then the mansion.

My legs move through the nearby forest without my own thoughts. Jane gets placed down by my arms onto the ground. I pull out a bottle of whiskey from my pocket and begin pouring it around Jane and on her. Hey! That's my good whiskey! But my need ignores me. I throw my bottle away once the whiskey is empty. Grinning, I take out a cigarette and my lighter, flick it open and light my cigarette. I back up and suck on it a few times before tossing it into Jane and watch her burst into flames. My lips curl into a smile as I hear her scream in agony as the fire spreads. I scream at my need to let me go and let me save her. But it ignores me and drags me out of the forest, letting the girl of my dreams burn in my wake.

Jane's P.O.V

My body shifts as the sudden feel of cold steel against my face as I begin to wake up. Hands grab me and pick me up then cold night air wakes me up further. Grass surrounds me as I'm placed on the ground. A liquid pours over my body, then a click, then pain. Horrible, pain as fire engulfs me. My eyes fly open as the fire burns my skin, I scream for help, something, someone. It seems like ages before I see the dark silhouette of a human in the flames.

The figure moves closer and moves it's arm up to shield it's eyes from the bright flames. My body has become numb as every nerve had burnt from me, but somehow I'm alive. My mind turns back to the dream I had, Ravana. Maybe Ravana keeps me safe from death. The figure finally gets close enough for me to see. Toby. My eyes widen as he picks me up in his arms, his skin and clothes burning like mine but he appears not to care.

He fights through the flames as he climbs over fallen, incinerated branches trying to find the way out. The fire had spread so far the entire forest is engulfed in it. Cold air blasts my face and body as we climb through the last few feet away from the burning forest. Toby begins coughing and he sets me down and pulls down his mask, breathing in the sweet, pure oxygen we were deprived of in the forest.

He looks down at me and smiles slowly, "it's okay J-Jane. You're s-safe now." He twitches and his neck cracks as he reaches back down and pulls me into his arms again. We move back to the mansion and we go inside. Ben comes running down the stairs at the sight of us and begins freaking out. "oh god oh god. I'll go get Slender!" He runs through the house and out of sight. A few seconds later Slenderman appears in front of us and takes me from Toby. His long legs travel quickly through the rooms until we enter a room that looks like it was taken straight out of a hospital.

Slender lays me gently on the bed then nods at Toby. Toby climbs into another bed, beside mine. My eyes turn to Slender and he looks into them, my consciousness begins to waver as I pass out.

I wake up to what seems like a few minutes later but was actually 3 hours. Toby, Sally, Slenderman, Eyeless Jack, and Ben are all standing around my bed, looking down at me.

"She's awake!" Sally giggles happily and wiggles in Slender's arms.

"To be honest I think she looks hotter this way." Ben admits and receives an elbow in the side for it from Eyeless.

I look at him questionably, I look hotter what way? Toby slowly hands me a mirror and I take it. My eyes widen at my reflection. My soft brown curls are now scorched to black, my skin pale white from the liquid poured on me before and my lips are burnt into a deep, dark red-black color. My eyes look even more green in contrast to the snow white skin. The mirror begins to shake in my hands.

Toby notices and takes it away from me, "it doesn't look t-to bad.." He twitches.

"Yeah" Ben adds in, "like I said before, you look sexy!"

Eyeless elbows him hard again, "give her a break Ben.."

Ben scowls at him, but grins when he looks at me, "I'm just trying to cheer her up."

"I think you're very pretty Jane." Sally smiles at me and climbs out Slender's arms to lay beside me. "Teddy and I made you a present." The white bear climbs up onto the bed and steps over to me, holding out a white mask, eyes laced over with black and a sweet, black lipped smile. I can't help but smile at the gift.

"Its beautiful..." I say, taking it softly from the bear. Sally giggles beside me and hugs me with her small arms. My arms wrap around her as I hug her back, tears running down my face.

"Everyone get out. Let Jane have some space." Slender shoos everyone out and shuts the door behind him after one last look at me. The room is silent as I gaze up at the baby blue ceiling. Everyone was there for me, to make sure I recovered okay. I can't keep back the smile and tears from this. Everyone but Jeff. My subconscious tells me quietly.

I lay my arms back to my sides and feel cold steel against my hand. My head lifts to see what it is, a knife. The same knife the bear stabbed my leg with when I met Sally. My hand instinctively wraps around the handle as my eyes look over the sharp blade, then at the mask in my other hand. Everyone but Jeff...

A.N. Wow that was a deep chapter! o.O so much emotion put into that one! So Jane finally gets her killing gear. What will happen next guys? Will she turn on Jeff since he turned on her? Or will she fall for someone else because of his mistakes? We will just have to wait and see.
