Patiently behind Lord Elrond, you entered the council greeted with many gasps from men and dwarfs but smiles from the Elves.
"A woman?" one man said shocked.
"Yes a woman" your Father replied "My daughter."
The man quickly bowed his head and shy ed away. You looked at him closely noticing his distinctive features. Messy, tangled auburn hair and a built, muscled structure. You notice many eyes looking at you but you ignore them as your Father begins to speak:
"Strangers from distant lands, friends of old. You have been summoned here to answer the threat of Mordor. Middle-Earth stands upon the brink of destruction. None can escape it. You will unite or you will fall. Each race is bound to this fate--this one doom, Bring forth the Ring, Frodo."
You watched as Frodo walks nervously up to the pedestal and places a gold ring on top. He looks at you with his big blue eyes, you respond with a reassuring smile as he sits back down.
"So it is true..." the auburn haired brute said mesmerised. He looks back at you and rises.
"It is a gift. A gift to the foes of Mordor. Why not use this Ring? Long has my father, the Steward of Gondor, kept the forces of Mordor at bay. By the blood of our people are your lands kept safe! Give Gondor the weapon of the Enemy. Let us use it against him!"
Other men murmur agreeing but they were interrupted by the voice of man whom you have known for many years. Aragorn son of Arathorn.
"You cannot wield it!" he shouted.
"None of us can!" you said without thinking. Aragorn looked at you for a moment then continued.
"The One Ring answers to Sauron alone. It has no other master." You nodded your head slightly already knowing this. The council then started arguing mostly Boromir but the beautiful Elf name Legolas joined too. Before you knew it everyone was shouting at each other apart from you, Lord Elrond, Frodo and Gandalf.
"I will take it!" you hear Frodo's little voice say. No one listens and carries on shouting.
"QUIET!" you scream. "Frodo has something to say". Outstandingly everyone sat down eager to hear Frodo speak.
" I will take the Ring to Mordor. Though.. I do not know the way." It was decided then. Gandalf, Aragorn, The Red bearded dwarf Gimli, the Elf, Legolas and the Brute Boromir all agreed to help him. Out of the blue, three other hobbits ran to Frodo's side agreeing to help. They looked up at you with their big eyes and curtsied. You found this awfully funny and chuckled with a grin. Your Father looked at you and said:
"As some of you may know, My Daughter Y/N is a trained warrior. She will go with you and care for your." you looked at him obsurd but he wasn't joking. You then looked at the 9 others you will be joining and smiled they looked back at you but you were almost certain you see a glint of excitement in Legolas's eye... Your father continued:
"Ten companions… So be it! You shall be the Fellowship of the Ring!" all was silent until one of the hobbits called Pippin stupidly said:
"Great! Where are we going?"

After the council you greeted Aragorn with a warm hug.
"It's so good to see you again old friend!" he said with a smile. You smiled back and asked him about his travels. When he had finished and told you to get some rest, you couldn't help feeling like someone had been watching you. You turned sharply only to see Legolas deep in his thoughts. You walked over shyly, he saw you and patted the space next to him.
"Ever been on a quest before Princess?" he asked with a surprisingly deep voice.
"No" you replied with a sigh "Lord Elrond would not allow it but he thinks I have a destiny so that is why I am coming" you explain. "Oh--and you don't have to call me Princess, no one does. Call me Y/N". And with that you shot off to your quarters looking at the new travelling clothes your maids had laid out for you. You chuckle before saying:
"Fancy Father wanting me to wear a tunic."
