Only Just Getting Started (Adopted by Shisa)

Chapter 15

I wake up at around 8:00 but I stay in bed watching YouTube videos and texting Joel for about an hour. Then I get up and get dressed. I go out to the kitchen and cook some toast. Lisa is sitting at the table with her laptop so I go over and sit with her.

"Hey! What do you wanna do today?"

"Ummmm I have no clue"

"Well I don't really have any work so we can do whatever"

"Ok cool. I'll have a bit of a think about it"

"Ok sweetie"

She closes her laptop and gets up.

"I'm gonna make a coffee. Do you want anything to drink?"

"Umm can I have a hot chocolate please?"

"Of course you can"

"Thank you"

She goes and makes the drinks then comes back. We sit there chatting for a while. 

"Do you want to ask Joel if he'd like to stay over tonight?"

"Umm ok I'll go call him"

"Ok. I'm gonna call Shane so when you're finished sorting things out with Joel you can talk to him"

"Alright"

I go back into the office/my room and close the door. I call Joel and we decide to meet at the Cheesecake Factory for lunch in a couple of hours and then he'll come back home with us. I tell him that I'll just text him to confirm after I tell Lisa our plans. We hang up and I walk back out to the loungeroom. Lisa says goodbye to Shane and hands me the phone and tells me to hang up when I'm done talking. This time she goes into the office to do some work and I sit down with Corny and talk to Shane. After we hang up I walk down to the office. I grab Shane's chair and sit down next to Lisa. I tell her the plans me and Joel made and she says ok. I text Joel to tell him and we agree to meet in about and hour and a half. Lisa goes to get ready since it's gonna take us a while to get there. We allow about an hour to drive there and it's lucky we did because traffic is kind of slow in a couple of places. On the way there I start my vlog.

"Hey guys. This morning I didn't record anything because we were just at home not doing anything but right now we are on our way to the Grove to meet Joel for lunch and he's gonna stay over tonight so there will be plenty of good stuff to watch. But yeah that's pretty much it so I'll catch up with you guys at lunch"

We arrive at the Grove with about 15 minutes before we're due to meet Joel. After we park and get out we walk kind of slowly to the Cheesecake Factory. A couple of minutes after we arrive, we see Joel and his mum. Her and Lisa chat for a little bit while I vlog with Joel. Then his mum leaves and me, Joel and Lisa go inside to get a table. After lunch we spend a bit of time walking around then drive home. After we get home Lisa goes into the office to film and edit an episode of Girly Gaming and me and Joel watch some tv. After Lisa comes back out, she tells us she is taking Corny for a walk and we decide to go with her. Once we get back, we watch tv for a bit and then order pizza for dinner. We sit on the couch with our pizza, watching a movie. Then I load up the dishwasher while Joel takes a shower. I go and grab my pjs and wait for Joel to finish up so I can have my shower. When I go back into the office after my shower I see Lisa on Skype with Shane. I leave them for a while and go play video games with Joel then Lisa comes out and tells me it's my turn to talk to him. I only talk to Shane for about half an hour because I want to go play games with Joel. Me and Joel stay up until about 2am just hanging out and having fun and then we crash on the couch.
