Gingerboy who, being the youngest of the group, got off from school the earliest, was hanging alone at the park, casually skating around. After him, Hoseok was the next one to arrive. Being glad to see the guy after a day, Gingerboy gave him an excited wave and called him by his nickname.
"Gallager!" Hoseok extended the name long as he walked closer to where Gingerboy was standing.
"You're back early," Ginger said with a smug look, checking Hoseok up and down as if to check whether the older was still the same after his trip with Hyungwon.
"We got back at dawn. I can't miss any more school," Hoseok stopped his skateboard in front of Gingerboy and kicked it up.
"You seem happy," Gingerboy started skating again instead. Hoseok thought he sounded bitter but it probably wasn't the case.
"I am."
Gingerboy did a circle around Hoseok and stopped again at the same spot. He smiled and gave a pat to Hoseok's shoulder to clear up the confusion about his pettiness - he knew Hoseok thought he disliked the relationship the other had with Hyungwon. The truth was that he had gotten over it, at least a little.
"It's so good to see you here. You're so busy datin' these days," Gingerboy sighed and looked up.
"Ah, stop it... How about your relationship, though?" Hoseok felt awkward talking about himself so he tried to turn it around.
"What relationship?"
"You know... You and Hyunwoo," Hoseok was careful because knowing Gingerboy, he couldn't be sure about how the guy would act.
"What the fuck? You too?" Ginger raised his voice and despite trying to be careful, Hoseok was startled. The red haired threw his hands down and took a step back, looking up to the sky. "Why does everyone think we're fucking dating."
"Well you kinda made it seem like that the other day," Hoseok shrugged, speaking calmly to not get the guy's anger levels any higher.
"It's not like that between us and it won't be. We're good friends. You ought to know that ain't like me," Gingerboy explained with a stern voice and his smile was gone. Hoseok felt like backing away a few steps but then decided to not act like he would be scared of Ginger.
Hoseok rolled his eyes just slightly. "Right. Don't get mad at me, I was just asking," he said and his pitiful voice made Gingerboy cool down.
"Sorry..." Ginger let out a sigh and thought for a while before continuing. "I'm in a deep fucking shit. I told Hyunwoo that I never agreed to date him and now he hates me,"
"He doesn't hate you."
"How'd you know that?"
"Because I see him coming here right now and he seems just as excited as every time he meets you," Hoseok was staring over the shorter's shoulder but his vision was blocked as Gingerboy turned around at the speed of light. Hyunwoo was walking toward the park. His posture seemed carefree and as Hoseok had said, there was a smile decorating his face.
"Why'd you say it like that," Gingerboy suddenly became frustrated. Hoseok took it as a cue to start running away, getting Ginger chasing after him in no time.
"Why are we running!" Hoseok laughed as Gingerboy was catching up on him. The younger soon jumped on his shoulders and almost caused Hoseok to stumble to the ground. He tried to shake the little guy off with not much success.
"What the heck are you two doing?" a voice interrupted their fighting. Gingerboy let go of Hoseok and shook his head to move his messy hair out of his eyes. Jooheon was standing next to them.
