"Why did you give me your number," Gingerboy asked once they got to backroom and Youjin had closed the door behind them. He turned to face the older guy and crossed his arms.
"So we could get closer," Youjin said simply, leaning against the shelf next to him with his shoulder.
"And why do you want to get close to me?" Gingerboy kept asking questions, remaining a tough image although he was much younger than Youjin. The situation felt strange to him too - he had many friends who were older than him but none of them were ever the ones to befriend him first.
"You really don't remember me, do you," Youjin showed a hint of a smile. Gingerboy squinted his eyes and examined the older's face with care but ended up just shaking his head.
"Should I? I only moved here four years ago." He kept staring Youjin but couldn't figure out where they could have met before. He wasn't sure if it was a joke.
"Heejun," Youjin said without letting him think for long. Gingerboy's eyes widened and he unconsciously took a step back.
"How do you know my name?" Gingerboy let out, feeling weird after being called by his real name which he shunned.
"I recognized you even though you changed your name. You don't like being called that anymore?"
"Who the fuck are you," Gingerboy asked, ignoring Youjin's comment because he was still taken aback.
"Try to remember. I haven't changed that much," Youjin's words came out with a small chuckle but Gingerboy was everything but amused.
"I'm getting annoyed. Just say it," Gingerboy snapped, causing Youjin to turn more serious again.
"It's me, Minjoon."
Gingerboy's expression froze again and his stare was blank. "M-min..."

Ten-year-old boy was panting heavily, hiding in a closet which he had arranged in a way to make that quick and easy. He had just ran there through the whole house and additional to his unsteady breath, his heart was beating fast after the escape he had made. There was plenty of room in his closet but he was keeping his legs close to his body as if to hide even better.
The door opened fast and as his heart skipped a beat and he jumped up a bit, he prepared to either run for his life or to plead mercy. He was too scared to look at the person and just closed his eyes.
"Heejun," a nice voice he hadn't expected, whispered. He opened his eyes to turn to look at the owner of the voice and saw one of his older brothers in the house. "What are you doing here?"
"Minjoon," Heejun stuttered a bit as he couldn't help but let out the name of the one standing in front of the open doors.
The older came in the closet, forcing Heejun to make more room by moving his legs even closer to himself. The doors closed behind him and it came completely dark in the closet again. Heejun could only hear the Minjoon's breathing and he was sure that the other heard his too. Then there was some rustling.
"Are you hungry?" Minjoon asked, still whispering as low as he could. He located Heejun's hands in the dark and placed something on them.
"What is this?" Heejun asked, feeling the object with his fingers. It was obviously a candy bar but he wanted to know which one.
"Snickers. Just eat it," Minjoon said and after a while he could hear Heejun opening the wrapper slowly. When the scent of the candy bar came, the younger's movements got faster, revealing that he really was hungry.
