Invited by the most enthusiastic party boy Jooheon and his ally, the usual squad had gathered at the Spotlight to celebrate their youngest. Gingerboy was surprised to see even Hyungwon showing up - though it was obvious he was only there because of Hoseok. Yongguk had been about to lock them inside and leave but had been convinced to stay by Yoonsun and Jen. They liked him for some reason.

They were sitting on the floor of the park and Kihyun emptied his backpack from several bottles he had been ordered to carry around. Instead of grabbing one of them Gingerboy pulled out a whiskey bottle, the same one he often had with him but still hadn't managed to finish. He flicked the cap open and took a sip straight from the bottle. Hyunwoo watched him with somewhat concerned eyes.

Some of the others had already given gifts to Gingerboy but right now as people were focused to drink, Hyungwon tried to get his attention. Gingerboy took a while to understand Hyungwon was trying to talk to him and realizing the guy was calling his name made him surprised.

"This is uhm... from Gunhee," Hyungwon reached over Hoseok to give a small paper bag to Gingerboy.

"He knew it is my birthday?" Ginger questioned before opening the gift, not even spending any thoughts to figure out what was in it as he was taken aback by the fact Gunhee had delivered a gift for him through Hyungwon.

"Seems like," was all Hyungwon said before turning his eyes from Gingerboy to Hoseok who sat between the two of them. Hoseok's attention was on the gift as well.

Gingerboy put his whiskey down to open the mouth of the paper bag enough to see what was inside. His eyes and mouth widened at the sight of what seemed to be few grams of some green. He let out a delightful sound and his eyes lit up. It had been a good while - maybe little over a week or so - since he last had weed.

"Thank you Gunhee! I love you forever," he put his hands together, one of them still holding the bag, and looked up to the ceiling. As he did so, Hyunwoo snatched the bag from him, having known straight away what was in it.

"Oh, come on. It's my birthday," Gingerboy complained, pouting as he saw Hyunwoo's tight grip on the paper bag containing the drug he was so fond of. Hyunwoo stood up and as Gingerboy did so too, lifted his hand up high so that Ginger couldn't reach it.

"You're not smoking this," Hyunwoo said with a calm, not yet stern voice.

"How about I bake it then," Gingerboy hung on Hyunwoo's shoulders to reach higher. Hyunwoo looked down at his face that had a desperate expression. Seeing Ginger's face so close to him caused him lower his hand a little so that Gingerboy was able to reach the bag with the tip of his fingers.

The little guy ran away with the bag and Hyunwoo went after him in a second. The others followed them running around.

"Cute," Yoonsun whispered. Kihyun next to him looked at her weirdly but Jen silently agreed with her statement. Hyunwoo had cornered Gingerboy but with a little diversion, the younger managed to run by him again, Hyunwoo's fingers just brushing his shirt as he went by.

Not long after that, Hyunwoo caught him and made him fall on the ground. Gingerboy continued trying to escape but Hyunwoo sat on top of him and held him down, holding Gingerboy down by his wrist with his one hand while the other was trying to catch the paper bag. Ginger tried to throw it away but Hyunwoo got his hands on it faster and put it behind his back, under his shirt.

"It's natural medication!" Gingerboy yelled trying to reach where Hyunwoo had hidden his precious gift but the older held his wrists down against the floor.

"Eat your regular medication and I might consider," Hyunwoo said and Gingerboy only let out loud complaints. After that they were silent for a while, only their never breaking eye contact and heavy breathing caused by the sudden run remaining.

"Do you think he still likes you?" Hyungwon whispered to Hoseok's ear. The younger looked at Ginger and Hyunwoo for a while before shaking his head.

"I have no idea," he said, turning to look at Hyungwon. Honestly he hoped that Gingerboy would get over his feelings because he was worried that not being able to respond to them was making the redhead feel miserable. Also he wanted Hyungwon and Gingerboy to get along because it was hard when your boyfriend and best friend couldn't hang in the same room without glaring at each other.

Gingerboy sighed. "Ah... Get off of me," he groaned and forced Hyunwoo to let go of his wrists by pulling them away.

Hyunwoo laughed and stood up, extending out his hand for Gingerboy to grab so he could pull the boy up from the ground. He brushed the back of Ginger's hoodie - which regardless of Yongguk having diligently been wiping the floors had gotten dusty - with his hand. The two of them walked back to the others.

"Are you two done?" Jooheon asked, taking out his phone with a smile on his face. "Let's play this drinking game," he suggested, going through the phone to find a specific app.

"We will leave you alone then," Yongguk said and was about to stand up but Youjin pulled him back down by his shirt.

"Aw, come on. You could have some fun too for a change. It's our little friend's birthday," he said with a pleading tone, putting a bottle of alcohol in front of Yongguk so he could also participate in the game.

"Since when are we friends with them," Yongguk lowered his voice but not enough for all the others to not hear it. Most of the others didn't hear it, though, being busy clearing out the rules of the game or complaining about things like 'do we really have to play this'.

"Since they come here every day," Youjin said with a normal tone.

"Do you realize how big trouble we could be in if we get caught drinking with bunch of underage kids," Yongguk continued talking with a slightly lower voice.

"We could also be in trouble if we leave them here alone," Youjin looked at him in the eyes, trying to be as convincing as he could. He thought drinking with kids they barely knew felt weird too and the only reason he wanted to say was because it was his little brother's birthday - he just wasn't clear about whether he could say it or not.

"That makes no sense," Yongguk muttered and took a sip from his bottle, regardless of the game not even having started yet - Yoonsun and Jooheon were still arguing about playing and many people were siding with Yoonsun who supported not playing any secret-revealing games.

At that time many of them had something they wanted to hide or something they didn't want the drinking game to possibly bring out. Gingerboy was one of them, still being confused with many things. He often felt like drinking but that day he kind of just wished to go home with Hyunwoo and sleep.

Jooheon became disappointed as no one - not even his best friend Changkyun - was as enthusiastic as he was to play the game. "Alright. Let's not play. Let's just drink," he said, turning his bottle upside down to pour the liquid in his mouth.

"Do you think our friend Minhyuk will make a surprise visit today?" Kihyun asked to get the conversation flowing again and switch the topic away from the drinking game.

"How could he know we are having a party?" Changkyun replied with a question but he too knew that Minhyuk somehow always found his way to wherever they were, purposefully or not.

"I want him to congratulate me," Gingerboy said, taking a sip of his whiskey while already thinking about Minhyuk and Byungchul showing up there, most likely having something unimportant and ignorant to say. He felt mad even thinking about it and he had already exploded once that day so Minhyuk's presence would be a big trigger for certain.

Hyunwoo felt some sort of worry again as he looked at Gingerboy, feeling like the younger's emotional mindset wasn't all right at the moment.
