The Hundredth Hunger Games (Clace Fanfic)

Chapter 7

BELLATRIX' POV

Despite my popularity, everybody seemed to be keeping their distance from me on the train, obviously because I was so scarily awesome. I was in the main communal area where tributes were allowed to socialise, interact and eat. We had all received our very own bedrooms, boys on one side of the corridor, girls on the other though I did not think I would be abiding by these stupid guidelines.

Nobody else was in the communal area so I decided to make the food more interesting by putting a hallucinating charm in it. Grinning at this fantastic idea, I pulled out my wand from inside my cloak and pointed it at the wine, uttering the spell, "Haluccinatus Desasus!"

Satisfied with this, I hid away my wand and sat back down casually just as the tributes began to stroll in for dinner. First came in Tris along with Hermione, and they were followed by Clary and Jace. Clary and Jace made me feel sick. Jace made me so annoyed, he was full of himself and extremely arrogant. Clary, I have to say I admired slightly but they were so foolishly in love that they would sacrifice themselves for each other. Love was pointless and stupid. I wrinkled my nose in disgust as Clary slipped her hand into Jace's and he looked at her with love and admiration. I don't know what they in each other.

Sebastian came in and sat down next to me realising how handsome he looked. He grabbed a glass and gave the wine a disdainful look as I put my hand on his slender shoulder and began to introduce myself.

"Hi, I'm-"

Sebastian gave a noise of irritation and shrugged my hand off.

Stupid idiot.

He leaned into Clary's face, who was opposite and whispered loudly, "Don't drink the wine Clary."

Oh maybe not stupid then. Clever idiot.

"Firstly, get out of my face," she said disgustedly, pulling her chair backwards.

I snorted at this scene.

Jace said, "Secondly, don't tell my girlfriend what to do. Only I can do that."

Pointedly, he poured himself a massive glass of wine and drank in one gulp.

"Now, he's the stupid idiot," I said out loud.

Sebastian gave me an agreeable nod and smirked, "As always."

"How did you know I had put hallucinating potion in the drinks?" I asked wonderingly.

Sebastian just gave a laugh and continued to watch Clary and Jace.

Meanwhile, there was a shout from the back of the room.

Tris and Hermione shot us a confused look and left the room talking quietly.

All of a sudden, Jace turned to Clary and his eyes widened in shock.

"Clary!" He shouted. "Clary! Someone call the ambulance!"

Clary looked at Jace puzzled. "Why Jace?"

"Shhh Clary, it'll be okay!" He murmured softly moving her hair out of her eyes.

Sebastian gave a bark of laughter, and I felt proud that I had managed to impress him. He sounded so amazing when he laughed! It was surprising how similar we sounded when we laughed at other people's pain.

"No Clary, don't leave me, I can't live without you," he moaned, pulling Clary into his arms.

"Jace," she said, angrily. "Is this some kind of joke? It's not funny okay?"

"To love is to destroy," he whispered quietly and put his head into his arms.

He had gone completely still and I gave a cackle of laughter at how much they were suffering.

Seeing Clary in pain however, seemed to have had a little bit of effect on Sebastian.

"Clary, he will stop in about an hour or so. It's only a Hallucinating Potion."

She looked at Sebastian with loathing evident in her eyes and clenched her hands into fists as if she were going to punch him. "Damn you," she yelled. "You're such an imbecile!"

She grabbed Jace and dragged him out of the rooms, giving Sebastian a last, hateful look.

Sebastian looked at me with a new respect in his eyes which made me feel elated. "Well done," he said, sniggering.

"It was simple, really," I replied, pleased with my work. And then I added suggestively, "Maybe we should be allies...."

Sebastian looked at the bottle of wine thoughtfully. "Maybe we should," he answered.
