I groan as I fall onto the bed as I couldn't see my feet now I am twenty nine weeks pregnant now I am around six months pregnant and rick keeps weighing on me hand and foot all out war is still happening negan and the saviors they are wounded and some has even come to our side including laura and dwight are in alexandria now rick wanted me back here because he knew it wouldn't be long until the baby get's here and he wanted me here and he hasn't left my side.
I put my hand on my back and tara walks over as we walk out on the porch and she says "I brought lemonade" I smile at her "tara can you fix me a glass please?" she nodds and smiles and grabs my hand "yes mam" she walks inside mine and rick's house grabs a glass and she hollers from the kitchen "you want one rick?" he smiles at me and kisses my knuckles again "yeah tara" I look down at my hand and try to get my engagement ring off and my band right by it my fingers are swollen bad and I can't get them off.
I try again and rick says "babe be careful yer making me nervous" I bite my lower lip and then rosita walks over and she stands on the sidewalk "still haven't got it off?" I shake my head and whine and rosita says "hold on i'll be right back" she runs off I look at rick he shrugs and when rosita comes back she shows me a clear bottle "this is hair oil" she pours it on my finger and I coat it and tara brings out the lemonade and she says "it's moving" the ring moves alittle bit and then it just slides right off and you can see the indent of where my ring and band was at rick exclaims "you got it baby".
I sit the ring down and shake my head and rick laughs "look at the indent guys" I show rosita and she smiles and so does tara she passes me a towel and I wipe off the hair oil "thank you tara" she rubs my bump and then after a little bit carl brings out judith to play and then braelyn and my mom was standing and watching them play and laura walks over and she rubs my baby bump and I say "my back is killing me no morning sickness though".
She smiles at me and tara stands beside her I raise a eyebrow at her and I double wink she does too I giggle and everyone was out here and I drink up tara's lemonade and judith runs over and touches her hand on my bump and I say "that's yer brother or sister in there" she looks at carl and points at my bump and he nodds "I know that's our little brother" rick coughs and says "sister" I roll my eyes and I say "i'm team boy".
I look at judith and I ask "judy what do you think it is? brother?" I point at carl and everyone giggles and I point at her "or sister?" she honestly looks like she's thinking but then carl whispers "judy boy" she smiles and points at carl and rick crosses his arms and carl says "yes" I giggle and I put her tiny hand on my bump and she feels him move and she giggles and I say "baby can you say baby?".
She giggles and I feel him move she laughs and I say "he moved didn't he?" she nodds and has this bright smile on her face she points at my tummy and says "baby?" I smile at her and kiss her cheek she wipes it away and she whine's "mom" I giggle while everyone laughs at her and then I start getting pains around my stomach judith goes to carl and it would stay for a few minutes then go away then come back I feel sharp pains I grab my stomach I bite my lower lip and rub my stomach and then I feel wetness between my legs I gasp oh shit is that my water? I look at laura and she see's my face and I say "laura my water broke".
Her and tara jump into action so does rick and laura helps rick carry me to the infirmary and rosita get's me on the gurney and she says "please tell me there's pain meds in here laura where did you put them?" tara runs over to the cabinet's and I shake my head "no drugs tara I don't want the baby to be loopy" she nodds and walks over to me and rosita says "braelee this is gonna hurt like a bitch".
I nodd in agreement "I know rosita" she nodds and get's between my legs and she measures me thank god she knew how to tell and rick grabs my hand and he whispers "i'm right here baby" I nodd and rosita says "damn that was quick you're dilated already braelee yer ready to push" she nodds at me and I push with everything I had in me and I feel everything stretching down there and I cry out in pain and rosita says "okay that was a good push brae next is the shoulders and that is gonna hurt believe me just push extra hard".
I cry out and I say "I want my mom" she nodds and laura says "i'll trade with her" she runs out and my mom runs in and grabs my hand then maggie waddles in with her five month bump and she helps rosita and maggie says "push braelee a big one" I cry and sniffle "I don't know if I can it hurts" maggie nodds and mom rubs my back "you can baby girl just one more push" maggie smiles at me and rosita says "you have to push mama a big one".
Rick holds me and I say "rick no more kids" he nodds with a laugh "I don't want no more either that's it we're done after this one" I push one more time and rosita says "good push brae next is the legs and then baby grimes is out" I push one more big one and then I hear a cry enter the room and rosita giggles "braelee look down" I look down and start to cry and maggie says "it's a boy" I start to cry and tara smiles at me and mom kisses my forehead and rick says "another boy" he kisses me firmly on my lips and maggie says "i'm gonna put him in a incubator for a little bit he's little just to be safe he's a premi" I gasp and smiles "just like chad was and judith".

Mom smiles at me and then walks in carl when they wheel his incubator by my bed and carl is holding judith's hand as she walks over to me and carl looks inside and smiles and baby boy was reaching for carl he smiles when his finger wraps around his and he says "wow got quite a grip there buddy" I giggle and he sits down beside me and hugs me I hug him back and when it was time to feed him I smile when rick cradle's him in his arms and rick whispers "he's so small carl was never this small".
I giggle and I say "he's perfect all two pounds of him" rick smiles at me and kisses me on the lips and I kiss him back and I say "now we're done we got our boys and our girl i'm done now" he smiles at me and judy points at him and carl says "be gentle okay he's little be very soft judy" she looks at him and smiles and I say "that's baby" she smiles at me and she points at my belly and I nodd "he was ready to meet you so he came out" she giggles and looks at carl and points at him "baby" he nodds with a grin "that's right that's our baby brother".
I smile when rick passes him to me and I hold him for the first time he opens his eyes and I see my emerald green eyes staring right back at me I giggle "hey baby boy I see you got my eyes" rick wraps a arm around me and he says "he does I was tickled to death when I seen those" I giggle and carl sits down on my bed and when I look down at the baby everyone was in the infirmary now and glenn asks "so what did you name him?".
I smile and look at carl and he says "mom?" I look at carl and he says "he looks like a cyrus" I smile and look at rick and he nodds with a smile and I say "he kinda does doesn't he? well cyrus it is Cyrus Abraham Grimes" we had lost alot of people along the way with the war against negan we lost sasha,bob,tyreese,abraham daryl and me had been captured but not once did we lose hope or the fight we got beat down and damaged beyond repair we kept moving forward and I was happy some of us was spared as I look down at the little baby in my arms I finally realize this is it this is why we fight this is why when we get knocked down on the ground we choose to either stay in the dirt or we choose to get back up because we never know what's gonna be waiting for us on the next turn.
Life is filled with twists and turns as many times I wanted to quit and die but I didn't I had something to fight for as I see my family in this room I will forever be grateful that rick stumbled on the prison because if he hadn't then I for sure would be dead right now but he chose to stay he chose to fight for us.
