Chapter 17

Yumiko's POV
Earlier in the day...
"Another Mission?"

"Yes. Here's the information on your target. You know the drill."

"I understand."

It's been a few days since I had gotten sick. And because of that, Karasuma-sensei gave me two days off to just relax. Now it's back to the usual routine of missions. Not that I don't enjoy it.

I took the file from Karasuma, and walked out of the staff room to go and get my bag.

Since the missions started increasing, I just decided to hide my real guns and knives in my school bag.

It's currently lunch. After that it's Science and then training. I opened the door to the classroom to see Karma talking with Nagisa and Kayano.

Well, I'd better hurry up if I want to be back by training. I want to see, how much potential as a assassin Shiota Nagisa really has.

"Hey, Yumiko-chan. Where are you going?" I heard Kanzaki-san ask.

"Another Mission." I simply replied. "See ya." I waved towards everyone. Before making my way out the door.

Karma's POV
"Hey Yumiko-san, where are you going?" I heard Kanzaki-san ask.

I stopped talking and turned my head towards where I heard Kanzaki's voice.

I saw Yumiko carrying her bag, and was facing the direction of the door.

"Another Mission.....See ya." She waved before walking out the door.

"Yumiko-san sure has a lot of missions." I heard Kayano-Chan comment. "I hope she'll be okay."

"Don't worry Kayano-Chan." I comforted. "She a pro. She can handle herself. She'll be fine."

"Ya I Guess your right."

Ding dong ding dong.

"The bell's ringing. It's time for Science. Come on Kayano, Karma."

Yumiko's POV
I rode my bike all the way to to my target's current location.

This was just another simple mission. Just kill the target and go.

Looks like this time, it's someone the government doesn't want leaking out information. Should be easy. It's just hope I don't get my uniform too dirty.

I parked my bike in a deserted location. Before changing the anti-knives hidden under my skirt to actual knives. Same with the bullets.

I walked towards where my target is supposed to be. Apparently this man retired on bad terms with the government. So they are afraid of their secrets being leaked. That's where I come in.

Hmm... it seems like he's not here. Info says he's now working as an accountant...

Ah found him. But there's still too many people here and I don't want to make a scene. Guess I'll have to wait for him until he's alone.

Finally, he's alone. He walked all the way towards a dark alley. Today must not be his lucky day.

Guess I should make myself known. "Makoto Shin, right?"

He jumped before turning around. "W-Who are you?!"

"Me?" I used my index finger to point to my Chin. "I'm just a normal girl."

"L-Like hell you are! You're here to kill me aren't you?!!!"

"Oh, really? Aren't you a smart one. Now, there's no point in hiding that knife." I pointed towards the knife that was hidden in his jacket. "So why don't you take it out and toss it to the side."
