Karma's Sister (Assassination Classroom)

Chapter 23

Yumiko's POV

"First, We'll have you enjoy a movie edited by Mimura." I heard Isogai explain as I walk into the chapel. I was just finishing the final adjustment on the rifles that I was going to use to get a head shot with.

I stood at the back just listening to Isogai explain how the assassinatuon was going to be carried out. I had given Rio my shot as I have another part to play in this assassination. This chapel was made as the perfect place to trap Korosensei. Mainly because this place is surrounded by water. Furthermore there could have been the possibility of us mixing anti-senses material with the wall and windows. So his only way of not getting weakened or killed is by simply evading all the attack that will be thrown at him in here.

But he definitely won't expect what we have for him.

As the video started playing I saw Chiba and Hagane walk out of the chapel. And I'm sure that Korosensei noticed that thanks to his sense of smell. But we've obviously thought of counter measures to prevent our actual location from being noticed.

Well, I'd better get into position. This will after all, be an interesting night.

I walked out of the chapel and back to the beach where my swim gear was waiting for me. I looked over to Chiba-Kun and Hayami-Chan as they were changing. Their shoulders were tensed and their hearts were beating like crazy. Well I expected them to be, but for this assassination, we need them to be calm so that they can land a proper shot. I faced them.

"Chiba-kun, Hayami-chan," I called. The both of them turned towards me. I walked over to them and placed my hands on both of their heads, and smiled at them. "Relax. There isn't a need to be so tense. Trust in your own abilities and the friends who are with you. Because there's no need to handle all that pressure all by yourself."

The both of them visibly relaxed. "After all, even if this plan fails, we still have plenty more time to assassinate that octopus and turn him into takoyaki*." I said. "So there's nothing to worry about."

"Okay." The both of nodded and replied.

I nodded in return. "Good."

I turned around to where my swimsuit was and sat down on the bench that it was on. I didn't have to rush because I have a full hour to change and get ready. I thought of what was going to happen later. Should this plan fail.

I closed my eyes. 

Well if we fail, like I said just now, we still have half a year, so what's the rush. With that thought, I decided to get changed.

I am currently underwater waiting for the start sign from Ritsu.

"Commence Operation." I heard Ritsu say from my phone.

I got ready at my position. I have around a minute before I shoot. What's more our sign to shoot will be when everyone surrounds him with a hail of bullets.

35 seconds have passed.

I heard Ritsu announce before the team riding the flyboards appear from the water.

It about time.

53 seconds have passed

They started with the bullet trap

It's our turn now. I took aim, aiming right at his head. My finger pressed down on the trigger.

Headshot!

I pressed down on the trigger and in the next second the anti sensei bullet fired straight towards him.

And then Korosensei shot off with a flash of light.

After recovering from the shock of that light, I look around the water only to see my classmates, but no sight of our teacher.

None of us could tell if we had gotten him. But we aren't going to wait to find out.

"Don't let your guard down! He has regenerative powers. Kataoka-san you take point and keep watch of the water's surface!" Karasuma-sensei ordered. "Yumiko!"

I shouted back before he could finish. "On it."

I dived under to check if there was anything left of our teacher or did we finish the job like planned. I looked around before finally spotting something that answered my questions.

I immediately came back up, I relaxed my body and started to float on the water. And at the same time that Korosensei floated up to reveal his new form, I announced.

"Mission failed."

I looked at Korosensei's ball shape form. What the hell is that?

"This is, the last of my last resort. The Ultimate Defensive Form!"

Sigh, after all we've been through with this crazy inhuman tako teacher I'm just not surprised anymore.

"The transparent part on the outside is the crystallized form of extremely condensed energy. I contract my flesh as much as possible, and with the excess energy resulting from that state I tightly fortify the area surrounding my flesh." Korosensei explained.

Which basically means that while he's in that form we can't do anything to him. But that means if he decides to stay in that form, we will never be able to kill him.

"...This energy crystal, it naturally collapses after about 24 hours. At that moment, my flesh expands, and it absorbs the energy to return to it's original state." Oh, that answers my question.

I climbed onto the deck and sat at the edge, swinging my legs in the water. I looked up at the sky filled with the night stars. Sigh, this mission may have failed, but it was the best one yet. Anyways, since it's over I should enjoy this peace while it lasts.

"Tch, invincible my ass." I looked back down to see Terasaka picking up Korosensei's ball form and whacking it with a metal tool. Okay, now this is a little funny.

"I see~" I looked towards my twin who had a evil glint in his eyes. Oh, so he wants to make use of the fact that Korosensei can't move to 'torture' him. I looked over to Karma and nodded wanting to join in on the fun.

I dived back under water to find what we needed, before coming up and passing the sea slug over to my brother. "... Let me leave this sea slug that Yumi picked up right here."

"FUNYAHHHHHHH!!!"

"Can someone find a dirty old man, I wanna stick this in his underwear." Karma shouted.

"There's no end to his bullying, is there?" Kayano-chan commented.

"Yeah, Karma's a master when it comes to this stuff." Nagisa-kun agreed with the green haired girl.

I plopped down beside them. "He learns from the best after all." I said proudly.

"Haha....." The two sweatdropped. 'Of course. They're just two peas in a pod.'

Third person POV

After getting most of the water out of her hair, the red haired assassin put her hoodie up and sat down on the coach, feeling a sudden wave of fatigue.

'What's wrong with me. I'm never this tired after an assassination. Don't tell me I'm coming down with something again.' She thought.

She was about to close her eyes, when she heard a thump sound and looked over to see Nakamura collapsed on the ground.

She jolted up and rushed to her friend. "Hey, Nakamura, are you okay? What's wrong?!"

"My body won't move at a-ll..." Her friend feebly replied.

Yumiko touched her forhead to feel it, only to feel the extreme heat coming off her.

She looked around and saw Okajima having a serious nose bleed. And most of her classmates lying around in fatigue.

"What's going on around here?!"
