She is the sea
you can see the waves
touching your feet
those in which you play
laughing and splashing
enjoying her serenity
but do you know her
her deep waters
that held many secrets
many answers whose questions
were never noticed
reaching the heart
is a questionable act
will you be able to
breathe normally
when you see those
unfathomable depths
and would you be as carefree
as you were before
are you brave enough
for those answers
that would tear apart your skin
reach for your bones
cradle you in pain
lulling you to darkness
gradually sinking you to emptiness
so my love,
live along the shore.
