Chapter 26

Scarlet's P.O.V.

I can't believe we actually did that.. but for the safety of our friends we must do this. I honestly wonder what the school is telling our parents.

"Here is your room. You 4 will be sleeping together. New clothes will be given. Your whole training will start tomorrow," Jabez smiled at us with fake warmth.

"No rules?" Oscar asked. I shot him a glare. Oh come on, why ask?

"Yes. There's only one rule. Never try to leave unless someone from here is accompanying you. Or, you will regret," He said sternly.

We were left in the room for the whole day. There weren't any beds. Only sleeping bags but at least there was some sort of "comfort".

"What the hell are you doing here? Where's Hannah and Yasmine? Why are you here with only Thea?" Aloysius asked.

Jabez pushed Francis and Thea in an hour after we were left in the room.

"Look, they said they didn't want anything to do with it. So Francis and I came here. We aren't gonna abandon you guys," Thea explained.

"Alright well there are two extra sleeping bags here get comfy," Lynn tossed them each a sleeping bag.

Aloysius's P.O.V.

"Hey, answer me honestly okay bro?" I said and he nodded, "What happened with Yasmine?"

"Well. Like Thea said. Both of them were best friends and they wanted to stop all of this and return to their lives so.. we kinda fought. And well I won," He rolled his eyes as if he always won, "so yeah I left with Thea."

I grinned cheekily.

"What? No. Not Thea. She's kind and all but no. Just no," Francis widened his eyes.

"Chill."

"Okay lights out. Training starts tomorrow... Remember we were forced. And we are pretty much slaves here. We did not volunteer for this," Lynn reminded us all.

We nodded solemnly and laid down trying to get warm. It was extremely cold in this room.

3 hours later

I'm still awake. The cold is keeping me up. And I couldn't sleep. The environment isn't the same. It felt weird.

I looked at everyone, they were all cuddled in their sleeping bags.

"Anyone awake?" I whispered softly.

"Yeah," I heard a voice from behind me.

I turned around and saw Scarlet seated with her sleeping bag wrapped around her.

"Can't sleep too?" I asked. She nodded.

I went over to sit beside her. Then out of the blue I hugged her tightly.

"Okay, we better get some sleep. We need our rest," I whispered in her ear.

"Good night," She said.

"Night."
