Chapter 33

David's P.O.V.

I chased after the man that took Scarlet away. He was fast. And he had magic. And once he teleports, I won't be able to find them.

I willed my legs to keep up. And finally, I caught Scarlet's shirt and pulled her back. 

Suddenly, we got teleported away. I ended up in some tunnel. With the man and Scarlet.

"Give her back! Before Master gets angry!" I shouted.

"You want her? You gotta get her," the man said then disappeared.

"F*cking sh*t *ss..." I mumbled to myself. How am I gonna get out of here?

Suddenly, I felt a thud on the back of my head. I watched myself fall almost in slow motion itself. Then the impact of the ground made my eyes blurry and there were white and yellow spots. I tried to stay awake. Then.. darkness enclosed me.

3 days later...

My eyes fluttered open. My head ached in pain. I looked around wondering where I was. Then I saw Angela sitting beside the bed closing her eyes as if casting a spell.

"Oh good you're awake," she sighed in relief.

"Why?"

"Because Ja- Master was going to kill me if you did," she said.

What the hell happened. I definitely was back at base. I closed my eyes and tried to recall everything.

Images of me chasing some man holding Scarlet appeared before my very eyes. Then I was in a cave. I felt like I was looking for something........ Scarlet! That's right. Then the pain from my memories hit me. And in real life, my head started to haves his piercing pain.

"Hey, are you still awake?" Angela snapped her fingers at my ear.

"Wha.. yeah," I opened my eyes and faced her.

"Okay well whoever did this to you, you've been hit really badly. You better stay here for the night. Oh and please eat. You've been out for 3 days," Angela stood up and left.

I waited for the door to click. Then slammed my head into my pillow.

"Ow.."

I totally forgot my head still hurts. Rubbing my head, I slowly let my eyes shut and let sleep wash over me. But it didn't. I was wide awake. Though I was tired, my body won't let me sleep. I didn't sleep. To make things worse, the whole night.

A/N: Why hello lovely people. haha okok. So I won't be updating until the end of next week. Aw don't cry. I'll be going on vacation. But I'll still be writing.
