Chapter 27

Oscar's P.O.V.

Hannah didn't even bother coming. why? I thought she had the same feelings for me like I had for her. Maybe I was wrong. Time to move on right? *sigh*

I sat on my sleeping bag watching everyone sleep, Aloysius drooling... Francis snoring, Thea, Lynn and Scarlet in their weird sleeping position... I'm glad I have them with me although we are prisoners or servants here.

Suddenly there was banging on the door which woke everyone up.

"GET UP ITS 7 AM GET READY AND GET OUT HERE," Angela's voice came from outside.

"Mmm......." Scarlet went back to sleep only to be waken up by Thea who slapped her cheek really hard.

"where's the bathroom...?" Lynn asked and I pointed to a door beside the window.

The boys got ready in the room while all the girls went into the bathroom. Then we switched to brush our teeth. With what? With toothbrushes that has been in there for over a year. Gross right?

By 7.30 we were out of the room and was served baked beans with luncheon meet and some stale bread. 'Treated nicely' my foot.

David came and said, "Hello servants... today you will be receiving your dark magic from Angela then you will learn the ingredients to our specialized drug and you will make as much as you can until tonight then tomorrow you will find out later."

Drugs drugs drugs.. I promised myself to never handle those again and look where that has got me.

After breakfast we were taken to the room where we were held captive.

"Okay Lynn has her magic already so she will sit aside. The rest of you come here... okay good then...," Angela shot something at all of us. That's when I felt it. The magic surround me. Magic was real.

*Flashback*

"Oh come on Lynn, stop believing in magic already!" I groaned.

We were playing and she wanted to be a fairy. So I was some evil guy that wanted to get rid of fairies for good.

"Never!" Then she pretended to shoot magic at me making me fall to death.

"Kids that's enough. Go inside I'll make you some hot chocolate," Mother laughed with amusement.

"Yay!" Lynn shouted with glee.

Never grow up Lynn...

*flashback end*

"Somethings wrong. Jabez, Scarlet and Aloysius can't receive dark magic," Angela whispered to Jabez. I didn't even realise he was here.

"Everyone got it except them. Theirs bounced back and hit me real hard," Angela said a bit louder due to her panicking.

"Because they are the opposite of dark magic. They are light." Jabez replied calmly.

I stared at Aloysius and Scarlet. My glance darting from one to another. Light magic? No way.

"No issue don't worry. Proceed on to teach them the ingredients. I'll check on you later," Jabez said and left.

"But-" Angela tried but Jabez was already out of the room.

She took a deep breath, "Okay.. Lets go."
