I'm still standing and waiting in shock to see what he's about to pull out of his pocket. If it's what I think it is, I'll be the happiest girl alive. Not that I already am just standing next to him and talking to him.
"Here's a ticket to my concert. I actually don't know why I have it but hey, I knew it would come in handy." He hands it to me with a big smile and I just take it.
"You know you really don't have to do this for me." I say half smiling. I feel so bad but also flattered that he even wants me to go.
"I know I don't but I want to. You're a very pretty young lady and you deserve it since you said you really wanted to go." I stand there and listen to him. It's like he wants to flirt with me but he's avoiding to. " Well, don't worry I'll definitely be there." I say smiling.
"Good. Can't wait, it'll be an amazing night. But after the show, as a pay back, you have to let me take you out." His smile is beaming but awkward and shy at the same time. Was I just asked out to go out by Niall Horan? I look at him in the eyes and nod my head, "I'd love to."
His phone buzzes and we both look down at the direction it's coming from. He takes it out of his pocket and looks at the text. "Hey I'm sorry but I have to go rehearse with my band and rest for a bit. We got here really early but I needed some coffee. But at least I got lucky meeting you." He chuckles and I smile lightly at him, "Well I'm beyond grateful that I got a chance to run into you." I shyly smile. We hug goodbye and say we'll see each other tomorrow night. I continue walking around the mall and try to collect my thoughts all together. Is this really happening?

-ALARM CLOCK BEEPS-
I groan as I hit the STOP button on my alarm clock. It's 7 in the morning and I have classes in less than 2 hours. The only thing that will help me get through the day is the thought of Niall's concert and our date. Wait, is it a date? It has to be a date, especially the way he said it. I don't know, I'll see. I have until 7:30 in the evening to get to the theater and settle to see his performance. I wonder where he's going to take me since he barely comes to Chicago. But it's okay, if he needs help choosing I'll gladly help.
As I'm on my way to UIC, I keep replaying yesterday in my head. How is that a guy like him would even look at me? But I'm not going to doubt myself. Maybe it'll be worth it.
After class
"No way...You're kidding right?" Eva looks at me with bulging eyes and her jaw dropped. I told her about yesterday and she can't believe her ears. I just nod my head slowly with a huge smile as we head to our cars. There's no one else that makes me feel so excited and just happy in general. Just thinking about him gives me butterflies. We get to our cars and we say goodbye and we'll see each other soon.
When I get home it's already 1. Jeez time flies. All I did was stop by Panera Bread to eat. Anyways, I decide to clean the apartment. I see my cat sleeping on the windowsill. I wish I had it as easy as him. But then I wouldn't have met Niall. I laugh at my own thought. It is how it is. I clean my oh so very small kitchen which is technically in my bedroom. The only separated room I have in here is my tiny bathroom. But I'm not complaining, I'm very happy here. But not as happy as I will be tonight. Wow I should really stop getting my hopes up.
