The next day
I wake up to an email from the professors calling classes off. I don't bother reading why so I just crash back to sleep.
When I wake up 3 hours later, I check my phone and see I got a text from Niall about an hour ago.
*Hey missy, text me back when you're up*
I smile at the text and bite my lip to try not to smile any bigger.
*I'm up. Did you enjoy last night ?*
I put my phone down on my bed next to me as I turn on Netflix. I look towards the window and see that it's snowing. Perfect day to stay inside. I feel my phone buzz and I pick it up.
*Not at all. Worst night of my life. Kidding. It was wonderful. Can't wait to see you again.*
*Good..me too. I'll make it better than last night , I promise. How's the ride btw?*
*Now I don't think I'll be able to wait to see you haha. But it's good. We're almost there*
I can't stop smiling while texting him. He just can't get any better.
I continue enjoying my day, watching Netflix, laying in bed, cuddling with my cat, enjoying some hot tea, and of course texting Niall until his show that's tonight in Texas. I'm all caught up on homework so I don't have anything to worry about. I'm so glad I have classes only on Tuesdays and Thursdays and work the other 3 days. Not only that, but I get to work from home.
When I check the time it's already 5. I really wish this day didn't fly by since I'm obviously really enjoying it. By this time, Niall and I stopped texting since he had to go rehearse and his concert is soon. I decide to order some Chinese and have Eva come over.
As soon as she gets here, the Chinese food was already here and we sat on my small couch devouring it.
"So...how was Niall?" She asks with a smirk and poking me with her elbow.
I look down and smile. "Don't even get me started."
"What do you mean? Did you guys do anything?" She winks. There she goes with her perverted thoughts.
"Are you crazy? Of course not. We went out after the concert and just enjoyed each other's company getting to know each other. It was amazing."
"Well you haven't gone out on a date in a very long time. So you definitely deserved this. And hey maybe something will come out of this."
"Don't get my hopes up. I like how it's going so far and I'll get to see him after his tour anyways."
As we're talking, I get a text from Niall.
*About to perform. Wish me luck. I'll need it. Especially from you (; *
I blush and text him good luck. When I look up, I see Eva giving me her look.
"That was Niall wasn't it?"
"Maybe.." I reply blushing with a smile.
Niall's POV
I feel my phone buzz in the back of my pocket. I quickly pull it out and look at the text and see it's from Nicole.
*Good luck. You'll definitely need it (; *
I smile and shake my head as I put my phone back in my pocket. Gosh how can someone be so perfect? I wasn't rushing to get into a relationship. But the best things in life come unexpectedly. And once they come, there's no way you can let go of them. Which is exactly how I feel about her. When I saw her that day, I knew I couldn't walk away from her.
As I go up onstage, I'm greeted by hundreds of screaming admirers. Don't get me wrong, I love doing what I do. They all keep me going. I scan around the venue. This time it doesn't feel the same without her here. But I'll just do what I do.
Back to Nicole
It's past 10 and Eva left an hour ago. We finished all of the Chinese food and now here I am, watching Friends. All of a sudden I get a text from Niall.
*Guess who's back?*
*I wonder who it could be...*
*Well obviously your favorite person in the world.*
*Oh yeah definitely.*
*Ouch. Kidding (: . How was your evening?*
*It was alright. Not the best. But I can't complain. How was the show?*
*It was just like any other show. Obviously not as good as Chicago's haha.*
*Yeah cause I was there (; *
*For sure. (My turn to be sarcastic) *
*Ouch. I see how it is.*
Gosh how does he make me so happy?
I decide to close my eyes while I wait for his text. Next thing I know, I'm asleep on the couch.
