The After Show {Niall Horan}

Chapter 13~

I feel his body against me as we continue kissing. His hands continue to slowly roam my body. His lips move down to my neck but stopped right before my chest. I'm glad he knows that we're not going to have sex or do anything more than kissing , well at least yet I hope. His hands go more under my shirt and up to my breasts. He rests his hands there and I continue running my fingers through his hair. My phone continues to buzz and all of a sudden the timer rings to check the cake. We pull away. "I gotta check on the cake." I say smiling. "Yeah you do. I think we should save this for later tonight." He whispers and kisses my cheek. I blush hard and get up. All I'm wearing is a crop top and yoga shorts which both accentuate my curves.  That's what might've gotten him to get on me, but I didn't mind it one bit. "How is it?" He asks. "It's looking good. Might be the best red velvet cake I've made in a long time."  I lay back down next to him for the next few hours until Eva and her boyfriend come over. I check the time and it's already 6. The lasagna is finished but is being kept in the oven to keep warm and the red velvet cake is already cut up and on a plate. I go and get ready. I only put mascara on and put my hair up in a high pony tail. I put on some black jeans with a gray cardigan and white undershirt. "Looking cute as always." I hear Niall comment as I set the table. I turn around and see his messy hair with a white t-shirt and dark jeans. "Thank you, so do you." I say with a wink and smile. I get a text from Eva saying they're here and I run down to open the door for her.
"Hey Nicole!" She hugs me.
"Hey Eva! Hey Dominick!" I hug her back.
"It's nice to see you again." Dominick says. He's such a nice guy. They're perfect for each other. I lead them upstairs and Niall opens the apartment door for us. They all introduce each other and we all sit down. I bring over the lasagna from the oven and we all take some.
"How's work and classes going Nicole?" Dominick asks. "Pretty good. After Niall leaves for a bit, I might go work in one of their offices for a little."
"Really ?" Eva asks surprised. "You don't wanna stay home and work?" 
"I do but it's only for the last 2 weeks before Christmas. I'll be getting distracted at home and with my phone." I look at Niall with a smile. "Well I do annoy you." He smirks. I playfully slap his arm.  "Well hey that's good. Whatever is going to help you get your job done." Dominick comments. I nod my head, "How's it being a cop ?" I ask.
"Great actually. I really enjoy it and I don't regret it one bit." He looks at Niall, "How does it feel always traveling?"
"Well, I personally love it. But I'm planning on slowing down a bit with it. I guess better opportunities are knocking on my door." I look up at Eva and she's looking and smiling with me. Is he talking about a future with me? If he is then he definitely feels the same way I feel about him. I do see a future with him. I don't care if we just met but we're never bored of each other and this is all just the beginning.
"I'm planning on being a magazine photo editor after I get out of college." I change the subject. I really don't want to have this conversation right now about futures. Yes Im glad we brought it up, but it's something I want to save for later.
Niall looks at me with a huge smile, "Really? You'd make great money from that especially since you've been doing it for a while ! What magazine are you planning on working for?"
"Well whichever one is gonna want me to work for them. But I'll make sure I'm gonna stay in Chicago."
"That's amazing Nicole. Last week you were debating on whether or not to travel and take pictures." I can tell Eva is happy I'm going to be staying in Chicago most likely. She's been my best friend ever since I transferred and she stuck with me the entire time.
We change the topic once again to something more lighthearted and enjoy taking about with a good laugh. I'm glad Niall is having a good time. I just want him to be happy and his laugh really shows that he's enjoying his time here. We did show some affection throughout the time. He'd put his arm around me and kiss my cheeks. Eva would give me looks the entire time but they were good looks. Not perverted or dirty looks.
Once they leave, it's only 10. Niall and I start getting ready for bed.
"So Nicole.. I was wondering.." I hear Niall say as we're getting into bed.
