When I hit the water I quickly swam into one of the underwater caves.
I found it had a big air pocket and a bit of land.
I pulled myself out of the water and tried to dry out my hair.
'Why? Why now?' I thought to myself.
It didn't take long for me to hear someone else coming.
When I looked towards the cave entrance I saw the princes head pop up.
"You're... a... hard... person... to... find..." he said while trying to catch his breathe.
"Probably cause I don't want to be found." I told him while turning around.
"Why won't you show your birthmark?" He asked once he pulled himself out of the water.
"Cause I know who my soulmate is and I know he won't accept me." I told him honestly.
"Why do you think that he won't accept you?" He asked.
"I don't think..." I started while walking towards the water. Once I reached it I turned back around to look at him. "I know."
Then I once again jumped into the water.
Trying to escape the grasps of the prince.
But little did I know that he had seen my mark and knew.
It was then when he saw it did he understand. He now understood why I hid my mark... and why I knew he wouldn't accept me.
Before I was able to completely leave the cave I heard him whisper something.
"I understand now. I know why you run. Why you hide. Why I haven't been able to find you. You haven't wanted to be found."
Then I reached the outside of the cave.
