The next morning I woke up before the others. The camp was silent and all that was heard was the birds chirping a the water running through the river nearby.

I looked at Noah's sleeping face and smiled but the smile didn't last long as I realized I was staring.

I quickly pried Noah's arms off me and exited his tent.

I walked to my tent and changed into more appropriate clothing for our task.

As I changed I thought back on everything I had been through and then I thought about Amanda.

I cringed and finished pulling on my shirt.

When I exited my tent I started a fire and made breakfast.

As everyone started waking up and leaving their tents they sat around the fire and ate the food I had made.

Once everyone but Noah was awake and messing around I wandered off to find some more firewood.

As I walked I listened to the sounds that nature held I noticed that the sounds of animals was very little but there was a small cry.

I frowned and followed the sound.

When I arrived l hid behind a tree as I saw that it was a small town.

I climbed the tree and watched as people tried to catch children and malnourished donkeys pulled wagons that looked like they were falling apart.

In all honestly it looked like something from an old timey movie.

I pulled myself away and climbed down the tree before I got caught.

I quickly got the firewood and headed back to the campsite.

When I got back I dropped the firewood by the fire and disappeared into my tent not listening to anyone calling after me.

The royals treat their subjects like slaves... and what I just saw proves that.

The king wants to find out who's killing servants and killing guards... I know a way to do that... and it doesn't involve killing anyone.
