Noah's necklace^

When I arrived back at camp everyone kept asking me where I had gone. I said nothing to them and walked into my tent.

When I got in there I walked straight to my bag and pulled out my camera.

As I set it up Noah walked into my tent and sat next to me.

"What are you doing?" He asked as I got up and threw all of my stuff into my bag.

"Figuring out what happened." I simply stated as I climbed out of my tent.

Noah followed and kept asking me questions that I ignored.

"Where are you going?"

"What's going on?"

"What's happening?"

Questions flooded my ears as I finished grabbing all of my stuff.

"I'm going to do what we were sent to do without hurting anyone." I told everyone.

They all just looked at me strangely and watched as I walked into the woods.

"Camille!!" Noah yelled as he came out from his tent with something in his hand.

"What!?" I shouted as I completely turned towards the camp.

"As much as I don't want you to go I know you won't listen. Just please take this and be safe." Noah said as he handed me a necklace.

As I looked at it I realized it was the necklace he never took off.

"I'm not taking this." I said as I tried to give it back to him.

"No. I want you to keep it. Please. That way I'll know that you'll come back. Cause you'll have to come back to give it back to me." He told me.

"Fine. As long as you take this." I said while unclamping the necklace I kept around my neck and literally never took off.

"A bullet?" Noah asked as he looked at the necklace.

"Long story... I'll tell you when I see you again." I told him.

I then walked away.

"Camille!" Noah shouted again.

"What?!" I shouted getting frustrated.

Noah then ran up to me and pulled me into him.

Suddenly his lips were on mine and everything began to go in slow motion.

I kissed back only for a moment and then pulled away.

"Goodbye." I whispered as I pulled out of his grasp and walked away.

The further I walked from the camp the more numb I became.

One thought stuck in my head.

'How long will I be gone?'

'How long will I be gone?'
