[✅] Ichigo & Kisuke: Forever and Always

Chapter 5

You allowed yourself to go through the motions of the day... All the way from Spanish class, to Chemistry (which you stink at by the way), to English class (which you rock at obviously) and now you have followed the rest of your class to your favorite part of the day so far... Gym class. Now, your day has been pretty normal but for some reason there is a substitute teacher and they decided to mix the boys and girl gym class? Now you might be asking, 'Why is this so important?'. Well, it is because that means more girls wearing shorter shorts than the normal short shorts and tighter t-shirts than the normal t-shirts... Amazing isn't it? What girls will go through to get any kind of attention from a boy? Then there is you... You are rocking a plain black scoop neck tank-top with dark blue basketball shorts... You're defiantly from America. You are breaking every single school dress code imaginable at this school right now but all the teachers are too afraid to say anything to you in fear that you might punch them in the face. Hey, if that guy had just left your butt alone he wouldn't be laying, unconscious, in the medical room in the nurses office right now. You are now kind of considered the bad girl of the whole school which is funny because you have never hit anyone in your life until today! Maybe that adrenaline rush is why you are so looking forward to gym. This is along with the fact that Ichigo and Chad, the bad boys of the school? They are your best friends even though you've only been at the school for one day. They think that the three of you are nothing but trouble... Hey, you just defend yourself when need be. As you are walking outside to join the rest of the group you push your way to the front where Ichigo is. The teacher throws down kendo sticks and boxing gloves. You smile at the teacher who sweat drops...

"Okay class. Today you are going to practice your kendo and boxing. The school has that event in the next few weeks and they want you to train. There are some of you," the teacher shoots a glance at you, "who already know how to fight so I'm going to have beginners, intermediate, and professional groups." The teacher instantly sends Chad, Tatski, Ichigo, and you to the professional group. A few other straggle in and the teach strides over to the group.

"Okay guys listen up. Here's the pairs." As the teacher rattles off names you feel your eyes float to the girl named Tatski.... You are fighting her. You smile mischievously at her and she grins back just as mean.

"I'm going to enjoy making your face a bloody mess." Tatski sneers at you and you're only response is to grab your long pony tail, flip it back over your shoulder, smile, and say,

"Bring it on Cupcake." As the two of you step into the area that you two are supposed to be fighting in you touch gloves. Tatski, another best friend of yours already, grins widely.

"Don't get tired now American girl... I know you're not as fit as us Japan girls." You can't help but snicker a little as you grin back.

"Trust me, I can keep up just fine."

"You sure? Or is that just the adrenaline talking?" Chad shoots in this comment from the side lines. You stop bouncing in place and look at him with such an innocent look that Ichigo blushes at the ground.

"You know she can hold her own." Ichigo's voice is low and Chad glances at him, is shaggy hair falling in his face.

"Ichigo, you should watch what you say." This peaks your curiosity... Why are they talking about you when you're right here?

"Why? I can handle my own... Remember that one time when we were fighting Grim- Wait, never mind. That wasn't you guys." Ichigo shoves a hand in his shorts pocket while kicking at the dirt.

"Chad, I was just saying that she can hold her own... You saw her take down that guy this morning." Ichigo smiles softly at you and in response you close your eyes and smile in return. When you open them, Ichigo is looking at you with sad eyes but there is also a genuine smile on his face.

"How can someone be so happy yet so sad at the same time?" Not realizing you said this out loud you start when Ichigo answers with,

"Because the girl in front of me has been taken from me and yet, she's right in front of me." Ichigo whispers this but you hear every word and you have to fight off a blush as Ichigo's eyes travel down your body and back up slowly to meet your gaze. He lets out a sigh and turns on his heel to walk away. Chad follows after him with a soft goodbye to Tatski and you.

Author's Note: I really wanted to end on a deep note and I think I did just that. :D
