You stir in your bed due to an insanely loud pounding on your front door. Ever since you had moved into your own little home near Ichigo Kurosaki and his family, you got WAY more visitors than you did at Orihime's apartment. Slowly, you sit up and wet your lips. You felt weird. Like, flashes of a darker side of yourself wiggle themselves into your head. You almost think your seeing a reflection of yourself. The pounding continues.

"(Your name)-Chan! Open the door! Chad and I have food for you!" The banging echoes through your brain like a hammer to a nail. You grab the side of your head with both hands and scream silently. Tears spill down your face without your consent. You shove yourself up and wobbly make your way to the front door. As you walk pass the mirror hanging on the wall you swear you see a different version of yourself almost right on top of you. You blink and its gone. Your (color) eyes are darker and filled with pain, while your mouth is in a frown. You force yourself to smile but the pain behind your eyes is horrible and your smile falters. Another knock on your door makes you shiver in pain. You open the door and blink against the setting sun. How long had you been out? Why were you in so much pain? You cover your face with a hand. You peak out and see Kisuke standing silently behind Orihime and Chad. You lean against the door frame with a grumpy look.

"Why are you banging on the door?" A sudden wave of dizzyiness hits you and you groan. Kisuke steps forward and grabs you by the shoulders. His green eyes are swimming with worry.

"Are you alright?" He whispers so quietly that you get the feeling he knows what's wrong with you... Nausea forces your thoughts to derail as you rest your forehead on his chest.

"Sorry. Not feeling all that great right now. I passed out most of the day, which I never do, and I feel like crap. It's not from sleeping all day either... This is... different." Kisuke strokes your hair gently. You had gotten close to the slightly older man, though you think he can't be more than 32, over the past weeks.

"We brought over some chicken soup. Your favorite!" Orihime says gently. You manage to gently smile at her and lead them to the dining area. Orihime and Chad work quickly to set up the area for dinner. You and Kisuke sit qiuetly at the table with each of your arms crossed. The smell of the soup seemed to calm your dizzyiness and nausea. You were glad for that for now.
