Chapter 6

It was late... The moon seemed to be at the highest in the night sky. You are walking home late from your shift at the local gas station. Listening to your favorite song, you hum along to it. Suddenly a group of men jump out and attack you. You gasp in pain as a blade is stabbed into your side. These crooks take off with your jacket and shoes along with your MP3 player and head phones... Why would they attack you for shoes and jacket? And take your simple MP3 player on top of it? You lay on the ground, bleeding out you begin to realize that you may not live. However, something in you forces you to stand, and stumble from the scene of the crime. As you grip your side, you slowly shuffle along. Since it is so late there is no one within site that could possibly help you or save you. That is until you round the corner and run smack into someone. You look up and lock (eye color) eyes with green ones. They look shocked and you see a great deal of pain in them. Why? You grip the front of his shirt in a bloody death grip and whisper,

"Please help me. I... I can't die. Not yet. I need to remember..." Then you black out in the arms of the stranger.
