I always found my safe place at Pop's with my closest friends. The staff is always welcoming, and the little diner has always held so much history, But the staff and history is not the only thing that makes this place feel like home. It's the feeling of being safe and secure, like the world has slowed down.

I sit between Jughead and Betty with a smile on my face. I was happy because the nightmares had stopped and the fear of a murderer on the streets we no more. I was happy because all the people I cared about were safe and most of them were with me in the very booth I'm sitting in.

I rest my head on the boy beside me, and everything starts to fade. I close my eyes and rest as I hear my four close friends talk about the jubilee. The sleep I have been lacking takes over me also making the sound fade away. I feel a slight nudge on my shoulder waking me up from my slumber.

" You awake there Autumn?" I hear Archie's laugh.

" Just enough to hear your bad jokes Andrews"

" Well I think that is my cue to get her to bed," Jug pushes me up to a sitting position.

"Goodnight guys," I smile to the blonde, brunette and the red head before intertwining my hand with Jugs.

We walk down the path towards his fathers trailer. I slightly put some of my weight on Jug because of how sleepy I am. He opens the trailer door and I see the straightened rooms that show signs of just recently being clean.

" It looks amazing Jug," I turn towards the couch.

"Yeah I figured I'd clean it up after Sheriff Keller going through it and me wrecking it."

"I'm going to help you with your dad Jug. He's going to get out of there, I have hope." I smile.

"That's why I love you Autumn," I turn to him. " I love you Autumn Anderson."

"Jughead Jones, I love you," I kiss him to keep myself from smiling so much.

He deepens the kiss and picks me up bringing me to the kitchen and setting me on the counter. Both of our shirts end up on the floor and our hair is now a tangled mess.

We both jump back when we hear a heavy knock on the door. Juggie slides his shirt back on and opens the door to see serpents.

I wait inside while he talks to them. My curious mind leads to me slightly cracking the door and eavesdropping on the conversation. I see a serpent hand Jug a jacket. He hesitates then takes the meaningful jacket and puts it on. I tilt my head with concern.

"Juggie?" He looks at me worried.

I take a step back and let him say goodbye to the serpents. He comes in without the jacket on and throws it on the couch.

" Don't overthink it Autumn," He hugs me.

"Just be safe Jug. I can't lose you."

"You won't get rid of me that easy," He jokes.

I kiss his cheek then make my way to the bed. I feel him lay down beside me, and I can finally close my eyes and get peaceful rest, by the person I love, in this small town called Riverdale.
