Everyone gasp in horror as they saw how Phoenix attacked the fire princess from behind, using his powers to immobilize her.

Tian Jin's eyes narrowed with fury and hate. Barely keeping himself in check. He growled when he saw the insolent wild bird trailed kisses on his Yan Da. Digging his nails into his palm when he saw Phoenix slapped her and the helplessness in Yan Da's eyes.

"How dare he?" Ka Suo growled. Anger in his eyes. Li Luo held his hand, trying to calm him down. Even though, she's also trembling in anger. The others gritted their teeth in hate.

"Ying Kong Shi..." they heard the fire princess whispered softly, making their hearts break especially Tian Jin. He couldn't take it anymore so he silently left. That insolent fire bird will pay, he growled in his mind.

Ka Suo and the others gasped in surprise and amazement at the next thing that they saw. Avi, the brave little bird, swooped down pecking continuously at Phoenix.

Making some stifled a laugh. Well it's pretty ironic. They were also shocked when they saw the tendrils of white energy that came out from Yan Da's belly destroying the energy holding her.

"That is..." Xing Jiu said, eyes wide.

"The baby." Lan Shang said in wonder.

A fight then broke out between Phoenix and Yan Da.

In the Blaze City...

"What happened to you?" Flame asked at Phoenix who was nursing the deep wounds on his body.

"Training." Phoenix answered, gritting his teeth. Flame's eyes narrowed at the blatant lie. An ominous and furious aura then filled the air.

"YOU!" Tian Jin growled. In a flash, Phoenix was thrown into the wall. "HOW. DARE. YOU!?"

"Argh!" the wild bird screamed, trying to removed Tian Jin's hold on him. Tian Jin's eyes narrowed tightening his grip on the bird's neck.

"Li Tian Jin, that's enough." Huo Yi then said.

"Do you even know what he did to Yan Da?" Tian Jin said. Malice and anger laced his voice. "He attacked her from behind. Taking her energy to make her helpless while he molested her." He said, burning Phoenix until all of his feathers turned into ashes. Before he let him go. "If she and the baby dies, I'll torture you to death."

Tian Jin then left still seething in anger.

"How is she?" Ka Suo quickly asked when he saw the door opened revealing Huang Tuo.

The healer shook his head. "Not good. I barely saved her. Her heart stopped three times when I was healing her. When she was attacked from behind, he damaged some of her soul too."

"H-how about the child?"

"Surprisingly, the child is fine. It seems like Princess Yan Da used most of her energy to protect it. However, if she wouldn't survive, the baby will die with her too."

The group's heart ache at what they heard.

Ka Suo clenched his fist. Once again, there's a possibility that he'll lose someone. His friend and his nephew/niece. "Isn't there anything that we could do?"

Huang Tuo smiled sadly. "Pray that she'll survive the night." He then frowned when he noticed that Tian Jin was missing.

"What is it?" Luna asked, noticing his frown.

"Uh... the man wearing a golden mask..."

"Li Tian Jin?" Ka Suo supplied.

"If that's his name then yes, I thought he'll want to know about Princess Yan Da?"

"Why would he want to?" Lan Shang asked, curious.

"Well he was the one that brought Princess Yan Da when she fainted from exhaustion and based on what I saw they're pretty close."

Ka Suo's forehead creased at that. Suspicion started to rose within his heart.
