Tian Jin decided to roam around instead of going back in the castle to calm himself. Though, all he wanted to do was go and see Yan Da. He restrained himself. He knew that he couldn't do that. Not just yet.

"Damn it!" he said, punching one of the ice berg.

"Did it help?" a voice then said from behind him.

"Not at all." He said, facing his brother.

"I asked the servants to ready the room beside Princess Yan Da." Ka Suo casually said, standing beside Tian Jin.

The other frowned. "Why?"

"Huang Tuo told me that you knew each other. Yan Da is still in critical condition. I need someone to watch over her."

"And you're entrusting her to me, a stranger you just met. How can you be sure that I'm not going to hurt her?"

The king smiled. "You won't." He just said walking away. Stopping midway. "Follow me."

Curious, Tian Jin did.

"Where are we?" Tian Jin asked, lifting one hand to catch some of the cherry blossom flowers that were falling. Somehow the place calms him.

"My brother's favorite place," Ka Suo answered. "The Withering Bloom Hills."

"Curious." Tian Jin stated, studying the cherry blossom trees.

"What is?"

"How come the cherry blossom trees in here are always in bloom?" Tian Jin asked, eyes still focused on the tree. Ka Suo's eyes soften at that question. The suspicion in his mind grew bigger.

"What?"

"Sorry. It's just that you remind me of my brother. He asked that too. As long as the Snow Blade City don't melt then the cherry blossoms will always bloom.

"I see." Tian Jin smiled, catching more of the cherry blossoms. He stopped though when he noticed the tomb stone on the side of the biggest tree.

He approached it. "Lian Ji?"

"Shi's mother." Ka Suo said sadly. The guilt in his heart is still there. If only he was quick enough to save her.

Tian Jin felt his heart ache. His mother. Lifting a hand, he touched the stone. Silently, conveying his sadness. Flashes of memories of his mother then flooded his mind, making him pulled his hand back. "How did she die?"

"Yuan Ji took over her body and I wasn't fast enough to save her."

Ka Suo said, noticing the shift in the other's aura and expression. He wanted to confront him. To ask if his suspicions are correct but something stopped him saying that before doing anything...

He has to make sure that Li Tian Jin is indeed his brother, Ying Kong Shi.

Night...

Tian Jin entered Yan Da's room silently, sitting down beside her bed. Yan Da... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left you. He quietly said, caressing the fire princess cheek gently.

Avi cooed, landing on his shoulder. Tian Jin smiled, petting the owl. "Thank you." Understanding him, the bird nuzzled its master's neck as an answer.

White tendrils of energy then wrapped on his arm, getting his attention. Tian Jin's eyes softened with love, putting his hand on Yan Da's stomach. "Hello, little one."

Her belly pulsed, conveying its fear and worry.

"Don't worry. I won't let your mother die. I won't lose you both." No more, he said in his mind. I already lost my mother. I won't lose anyone else. Never again.
