Hera drummed her fingers impatiently on the ledge of the holochess table in the Ghost. She glanced up to see Zeb pacing around the room anxiously, and Kanan sitting in a meditation position, wearing a grim face. Even Chopper, her little droid who had everyone fooled that he didn't care about anyone but himself, was beeping worriedly.

"It's been 9 hours since they left." She announced finally. Kanan nodded, running his hand through his hair absent mindingly, his brain occupied with other thoughts.

" Why don't we just comm them on the transmitter?" Zeb grunted, breaking the silence. Hera shook her head, sadly,

" I made the mechanics program the imperial transport the two were using to make it that they have no way of contacting us. It was a safety precaution so that the Empire couldn't track our base down if someone got captured on it." She explained, and then sighed. "Now that I think about it, that idea was flawed." She admitted.

Zeb groaned and massaged his face, before turning to Kanan. " how about you? Can't you contact Ezra with that Force bond, Jedi thing?" Chopper beeped, agreeing with the lasat.

Kanan frowned. "What do you think I've been trying to do? Ezra's basically entirely blocking me out from his mind.  It's like he's locking his brain away from me.." he paused and then continued. " I wasn't aware he had gotten that powerful in the force to do that."

Kallus walked into the room where everyone was. " Any sign of them?" Hera asked tiredly to the sideburned man.

Kallus shook his head. " I'm sorry Captain Syndulla, but no signs whatsoever. Though, I wouldn't be too worried if I were you. Ezra and Sabine are teenagers. While they may be very professional, and hardened warriors in their own respect, they are still in their youth. That means that they can be very rebellious to their parent figures." Kallus explained to the family

" Ezra? Maybe. Sabine? Never." Hera answered quickly. Kanan snorted in spite of himself. He knew it was true that the mandalorian was  more responsible than his padawan. Though he had to admit, the sarcastic boy they had come to love was becoming a capable young man and had grown very mature. More than they gave him credit for.

" Thanks for the advice Kallus ." Zeb addressed his friend kindly. " you'll have to excuse Hera. She's in mother mode right now. She won't relax till Sabine and Ezra are safely back home."

Kallus nodded. " I understand. I'm just sorry  I couldn't help more." Suddenly,
there was a light coming from the outside. One that resembled - a headlight from a ship!

" They're  here!" Hera exclaimed. She burst out the door before anyone could stop her, and sprinted  up to the landing transport. The  door  opened to the ship reveal a limping Sabine. And no one else.

Hera had a sinking feeling as she approached Sabine. Where was Ezra? "Sabine, are you okay? Wheres Ezra?" Hera asked, fearing the answer she would recieve,

" He-Hera," the young mandalorian croaked out. "It was a trap. Thrawn- he took Ezra away. It's all my fault!" With that, Sabine fell into the twi'lek's arms, sobbing. Hera embraced her tightly, reassuring her that they would find their youngest member, as tears of her own began to fall.

The crew and Kallus approached the pair, already aware of what had happened. " I'm going to kill that Kriffing blue Sleeemo." Zeb muttered, reaching for his bo- rifle.

" No," Sabine said as tears strolled down her cheeks. " I am going to be the one who kills him."

So, what did you think of this chapter? CNDX-DEW really requested it last chapter 😉. I haven't decided about what to do for Ezra yet. I don't really want to have him turn to the dark side. So
Vote if you want him to live and comment "die!" If you want him to well... die 💀. This chapter was soooo sad to write. I included some Mama Hera in it. What did you think? Please comment and follow and stuff
