Poem 90

Morning she's wakes up and puts on her makeup. Long sleeve shirts and baggy pants. The hallways she walks, stares and whispers everywhere. What's wrong with her, she doesn't know. She's tries to be better, she eats less. She wants to be beautiful, she adds the makeup. The trend they set, she doesn't go with. When will the madness and the pain go away. Lost, pain, memories cascade. She wears a smile everyday, that's her facade. Her facade of being happy, but she's hurt. If only they can see it's a facade, and it's not working. Slowly the makeup goes away, the scar on her appears. There goes the long sleeve shirt, and the cuts show. She's left with bones no skin, anorexia took over her. Now they see her, the facade has dropped. The crowd stays silent and the curtains are drawn. She is now naked in the eyes of everyone. Goodbye facade, see you when the seasons change.-mommamafia
