Instability
"We have some catching up to do."-Chapter Eight
I had a pretty good sleep last night and as I woke up, all the crazy things that came about in the last twenty-four hours came crashing down on me. I got up and took a second to actually take in my surroundings. The room was a burgundy color with a black wooden frame structured to outline the walls and make it look nice. I liked the dark colors because it made the room look inviting with the white furry rug smack in the middle of the room. The sheets were silked and black and white. The comforter on top was the same burgundy as the walls. As I walked over to the bathroom, I saw toiletry items placed in the medicine cabinets and under the sink. Along with body wash and shampoo in the shower. Same as the ones I have at home. A shiver ran down my spine. Creepy.
The bathroom was all white and seemed very bright since I had just woken up. I turned on the shower and it immediately turned hot and steamy. Just what I like. I stripped my clothes and jumped in and washed up. After I was done, I wrapped the towel around me and blow dried my hair and tried to comb the tangled forest that lived in my hair. Twenty minutes later I was dressed in black leggings with a long sleeved black bodysuit underneath a grey vest. Well, don't I look mighty fine today.
After I was done adjusting myself in the mirror, I headed down to training which I remembered was downstairs, down the right hall, first door on the left.
After I got in the room, there was a man in the middle of the dimly lit area and the first thing I thought was 'what is this, fear factor?' I lifted my head high and walked in. I could barely see the man's face and tried to swallow the fear that was rising in my gut to remain calm and unfazed. Suddenly all the lights turned off and then flashed back on and Cooper was standing right in front of me. At first, I was speechless. The only words I could get out were-
"You're here. You're here?"
He seemed amused with my speechless reply and casually said, "We have some catching up to do."
