- Christina's POV -
I woke up thinking about the pros and cons of the day to come. Pros, I get to see my son, that's about all I could think of. Cons, acknowledging the one person I wish I didn't have to, having to act like I didn't care and trying to stay emotionless in front of him.
Him. The man who I can't stand to be around. The man who I once loved-- and still do. The father of my child. The man who broke my heart. The man whose heart I broke. Jordan.
As I stood in the kitchen, stirring my coffee, thinking of the day to come, I was interrupted by my fiancé, Matthew.
"Christina, what time is he dropping Max off?" He asked, avoiding saying Jordan's name. Matt hated Jordan with a passion.
"I don't know." I shrugged as I continued to stir my coffee, not even bothering to look up in Matt's direction.
"You are his mother. Aren't you supposed to know these things?"
I rolled my eyes as I put my mug down on the counter and looked up at him,"If you want to know that bad then why don't you pick up the phone, call Jordan, and ask him yourself."
"You know what, just forget I even asked."
"Already done." I said as Matt walked out of the kitchen, mumbling something under his breath.
Another thing to add to my list of cons, having to deal with Matt.
I mulled around for the rest of the morning just doing nothing productive. Unless you count sitting on your ass and watching tv as productivity. It was about 11:30am when there was a knock at the door.
"Mom!" Max screamed as I opened the door.
"Hey little man." I said, scooping him up for a hug.
"Hey." Jordan said.
"Jordan." I nodded.
Jordan looked at me and then down to Max, "Max, why don't you go inside and play."
"Ok, bye dad!" Max yelled as he ran off.
"So . . . how have you been?" Jordan asked.
"Fine." I shrugged.
"Aren't you going to ask me how I've been?"
"I really don't care how you've been, so no, I'm not going to ask." I said as he rolled his eyes.
"Stop with the whole bitch act, Christina. It's not going to work."
"Ha, you think it's an act?"
"I know it is. It's been 4 years, it's time to move on."
"I divorced you. That is me moving on."
"Keep telling yourself that, baby. I'll be going now. Tell our son I love him." He said as he kissed my cheek and walked away with a smirk. I stood there with a disgusted look on my face, he knows exactly how to get under my skin and he is damn good at it.

(Seeing as Christina isn't pregnant in this book, she is coaching season 7 of the Voice.)
"The queen diva has arrived." Adam said as I walked into the Voice studios.
"Shut up, Adam!" I snapped as I took a seat next to Blake.
"Jordan?" Adam asked. He always knows what's going on.
"No." I said, as Adam sighed.
"What did he do this time?" He asked, persisting with his theory that it was Jordan. Somehow he always knew.
