I open my eyes, I look beside me expecting to see my boyfriend, Dan, laying down beside me sleeping, but the problem is, he isn't there. Where the hell is Dan? I got up and quietly walked towards the bathroom, worry spreading through me quickly, I hear a small whimper coming from the other side of the door,
"Dan?" I say knocking on the door, No answer. I must have scared him a little bit, I heard something drop, it sounded small and the sound it made when it hit the floor, It sounded like metal.. Then it clicked. I knocked again, But more aggressively,
"Dan?!" Silence. I fumble with the doorknob, I finally get the door to open and when I get inside I see Dan sitting against the wall on the other side of the bathroom sobbing quietly. I rush over to him and sink to my knees, I pick up the blade and set it up on the counter. I lift up Dan's chin so hes looking at me, His big brown eyes filled with tears and sadness.
"What happened?" I ask calmly, Letting go of Dan I go to the other side of the room and get paper towel, I put the paper towel over the fresh cuts Dan has made and apply slight pressure. Dan manages to choke out a few words,
"The itch came back, And i couldn't handle it.. I had to. Phil i'm so sorry." He starts to sob harder,
"Hey, You don't need to say sorry. But next time the urge comes back, I need you to tell me no matter what. So we can make it so you don't have to cut again, Alright?"
"Okay" He said, I got up to grab bandages, Once I have them I wrap his wrist making it so they can't bleed anymore, I sit next to him, He lays his head down on my shoulder, Soaking my tee-shirt, But i don't care. I lay my head down on top of his and wrap my arms around him in attempt to calm him down a bit, And it seems to be working. He's breathing evens out a bit, Less tears fall from his beautiful brown eyes and he wraps his arms around my waist, snuggling closer into my side. I kiss the top of his head and bring my knees closer to my body, Imitating my amazing boyfriend.
After a bit I help Dan stand up and bring him to my bedroom. I lay him down and he closes his eyes in attempt to get some more sleep. I lay down next to him, Wrap my arms around him and put my head on his shoulder, I see him smile slightly before falling asleep.
