"Because..I..Uhm.." I couldn't get the words out. Dan took my face in his hands and whispered,
"You don't need to explain. But you're perfect. I need you to never do this again. Alright?"
"Ok." I said sadly, Memories of that night flooding into my mind, I see my dads fist fly at me, Hitting me hard, Again and again, I feel one last blow to my ribs then darkness. The I open my eyes to see he had left, Across the room he had knocked over a glass that had sat on my shelf, It had shattered into a few big pieces, I crawled over carfully, Making sure not to make any noises that might make him come back to my room, I picked up a piece of the glass and position it at my wrist, I slide the cold object across my skin, Again and again, Leaving me with multiple cuts and blood dripping down onto my jeans, Then the memories stop. I look up to see Dan looking at me worriedly,
"Are you alright?!"
"No" I cry out. I wrap my arms around Dans waist and bury my head in the crook of his shoulder, I feel Dans arms pull me in closer to him, My tears soak his shirt but he doesn't seem to care, He holds me close as I cry and cry,
"Hey, It's ok, Tell me what happened."
"My dad..He was beating me..Then I blacked out..Then I grabbed a piece of glass and just.."
"I sobbed harder, A tear fell from Dans eye and he held me tighter, After a while I passed out in his arms.
I woke up and looked at the clock, 12:15. I flip over on to my other side and see Dans eyes open and focusing on me,
"Are you feeling better?" He asked me, I nodded, I cuddle closer into him and bury my head in his chest,
"Thank you"
"No problem." Dan said, Wrapping his arms arond me and holding me tight,
"Why did you help me?"
"Phil. You were having a breakdown. And I love you, Why wouldn't I help?"
"I don't know.. Just no one has ever really showed me I was worth their time.."
"Well. To me your are worth it."
"I love you Dan."
"I love you to Phil." He said, Flashing me his amazing smile and giving me a peck on the lips.
