I must have fallen to sleep, I wake up, I can faintly here Dan's voice coming from the living room,I rub my eyes and get up. At first my knees are a bit weak but I walk it off, I walk out to the living room and see Dan pacing around the room talking on the phone.
"Thank you." He says and hangs up, He turns around, He smiles realizing I was standing there,
"I ordered a pizza."
"Sounds good, I better go get dressed."
"We should have a lazy day, Alone. We can just stay here and watch movies and stuff." We both smile and I nod,
"Alright, Sounds amazing. So, I won;t get dressed then." I turn around, Jump onto the couch and laid down. So Dan jumped on me,
"Ah!" I said laughing, We intertwine our fingers and he leans down close to my face,
"Hi." He said with a cheeky smile, He leans down farther and kisses me gently, He breaks apart, Still sitting on me, I laugh at him,
"You're cute." I say still laying there, Fingers intertwined and a big grin on my face, He shoots me another cheeky smile, Showing off his adorable dimples, He leans down again and kisses me, The doorbell rings, Scaring us both, He gets off me, Gets money out of his wallet and goes to answer the door.
He comes back, Pizza box in hand, He sets it on the table and goes to the kitchen to get plates. I sit up and open the box, He comes into the living room holding 2 plates, He sets them on the coffee table in front of me, I get out 2 pieces of pizza and put them on the first plate, I hand it to him and he takes it,
"Thank yoou" He says and picks up the TV remote, Another baking show. We decide to just keep it on, I take 2 pieces out of the box and put them on a plate for myself. I take a bite out of the first slice and pay attention to the T.V. My mind wanders, Thinking about Dan. About this morning. How I should have done more..
"Dan."
"Yea?"
"I'm sorry."
"For what?" He said putting his plate down and looking at me,
"This morning.. In the bathroom.. I should have done more.. I really should have. I love you, And I didn't do a very good job expressing it. I'm sorry."
"Phil, You did all you could have done. When I get in those states I can barely understand anything that's not in my head. All you could have done was hold me."
"But.."
"No. You helped, Thats all that matters. Alright?"
"Alright." I say and give him a peck on the lips, I pick my pizza back up and continue eating.
